Its simplicity is its beauty. Love the red coq in the Le Coq Sportif logo. Biley & Swindlehirst were a great forward combo in the same way that Marriott & Martin can be. I used to try and model my moustache on Dave's luxuriantly hirsute beast. Unfortunately I was more of a wispy Bobby Davison type. loweman2
Another very special shirt that has been rescued and given a full clean and restoration, I’ve got to say I am well pleased with what I’ve done, it had been left to die but now will have a new lease of life, this is the only shirt owned by Derby County believe it or not, it had three inch nails going right through it and had been held in place with rusty industrial staples, full of holes and rust. i have fully restored it and got it ready for reframing i am proud to say that it will be going in pride of place in the new captains club at Pride Park. Archie Gemmill’s 1975 Charity Shield no 8 shirt. a shirt from our magnificent past. Premier ram, Ellafella, IslandExile and 11 others 12

Costa Del Sussex Ram
Big Dave coaches football at a school in South London and now bald and tashless! I teach down in Brighton and my school played against his team last month. We were spanked 3-0. Still a Palace folk hero.. Could be wrong though. Maybe one of our DCFC shirt historians could clarify?
