loweman2
As part of my collection and the rams heritage group that we have formed, myself and Jason Shardlow aka est1884 or boyfromtheterrace have with the help of toffs recreated the first Derby County shirts you have a badge, we had that embroidered by a third party and toffs applied it for us to the Bespoke shirts that they had made for us, it has really brought this period back to life and will be at future rams heritage displays so look out for events. the home shirt. europia, Steve How Hard?, Inverurie Ram and 3 others 4 1

Pearl Ram
Bloody hell, couple of tough looking buggers there. I reckon the wingers are back row third from the right and front row first on the left. Defenders one either side of the goalie and front row second left. Centre forward middle front row. ? Love them striped shirts an’ all. loweman2 and europia

We have had such a great response to them that we are looking at getting a run of 84 done to tie in with the 125 year anniversary of the BBG, get on Twitter and follow us at @ramsheritage or search for Rams Heritage Trust, we are getting some ideas of numbers, they will be around £80 each as they are a bespoke order, I will also put some updates on here, they really are a superbly well made shirt, British made, not CHINESE imported. 1of4
The person on the right of the back row appears to only have one leg. Was he the first of many defensive midfielders to suffer a bad injury.

Geriatram
The player second from the right in the row of five players is Harry Storer, he played for the Rams between 1921 to 1928 he was capped for England twice,he also played cricket for Derbyshire. But more importantly for me he was manager of the Rams when I first started supporting them without going with my dad, in 1955, He was a no nonsense manager and Brian Clough modeled himself on Storer. Even though we were in the third division north I loved those times and I have never lost my love of Derby County. loweman2
My all time favourite Derby kit, the introduction of the iconic Umbro diamonds on the sleeves was the magic ! My first shirt as a seven year old kid, this shirt was owned by Trevor East of tiswas fame and given to him by his good friend Bruce Rioch during his time on the board, they used to drive in together from Birmingham, this was the last shirt that I was after so might take it easy for a bit now, it was also worn by Gerry daly with the famous repainting of the penalty spot against Man City the 1976/78 umbro home shirt and full kit BarrowRam, Steve How Hard?, SKRam and 5 others

Would I have had the orange (with black trim) version of that (my first replica), or something similar but a year or two out?

The orange was the le Coq, followed by Patrick, the away version of this was the blue and white stripes and the light blue and navy blue stripes, they also wore red that season. That's more like it, but would/could I have had a version without the sponsor? Not convinced I had that on mine, but it wouldn't be the first time my memory plays tricks! Le Coq Sportif is definitely right though, now you mention it. ?? BTW... I bet we have the technology nowadays to actually take-off with those collars! ?
