That said, the fees being branded about are quite high for a player with one year left, and is the position really a priority anymore? Guess it all depends if we think Lowe can be our first choice this season. Forsyth isn’t good enough so it looked a position of need but with Lowe stepping up, could the money be better used elsewhere? Insane stats for a defender there, although he was unknown before the start of last season, so we can't say he was the exact man to go for. What was the fee that Leeds ended up paying for him? He played as a high wing back for Wolves. I wouldn't call him a defender as such, neither do Wolves who obviously thought he'd be found out defensively in the premier league. It'll be interesting how he looks at Leeds this season as he's had one good season at the age of 29 to most of our knowledge.... sounds like the kind of £6m we USED (?) to make. That would be massively disappointing Undisclosed fee I believe mate, but I seem to recall figures of around £4 mill being bandied about. Annoying that clubs don't disclose the fees being paid!
