Ted McMinn Football Genius
Does anybody understand the numerical structure of these FA Cup draws, there doesn’t appear to be any methodical pattern to the numbers allocated to any clubs. Carl Sagan
I like this draw. We have six games between now and then and everyone who plays will be desperate to keep their place for a trip to Old Trafford. Great motivator to see us move up the table during the busy Christmas period.

RamsFan10
Hope this is on at a normal time, on a Saturday and not on TV. Potential away allocation of 11'000 ish. Would be nice to get 5/6 thousand there.

I think the top two divisions are numbered alphabetically. After that it will be based on the results of previous ties. So number 45 would be the winner of the first second-round tie drawn out of the hat and so on. Just guessing and not checking, but that would make sense. I take it back. I just checked to be sure and that's exactly the methodology used.
