9am on Wednesday morning. Hopefully Forest at home is in December and away in March would be great. ??

Just think though how disappointing August, September, October, November, January, February, April and May will be be if that is the outcome. Unless we get them in the cups and play offs. Perhaps we could get them in the 4th round of the FA Cup, and if we can draw that we have covered January and February. In the Carabau Cup if we play them on 31 August, and take them to penalties and win 74-73 we might just creep into September.  Let's rule out May - there really is no chance Notts will get in the playoffs. 4th round of the FA was a stretch.

Fixtures weren't kind last year, i dont buy the old adage 'you play everyone twice'

Relegated teams at home promoted teams away doesnt get any tougher of a start in my opinion, we had villa newcastle and ultimately brighton at home, barnsley away

its about getting on and staying on runs

Opening weeks prediction...going for something like Wednesday at home, Sunderland away. Stinker

Playing teams when they are low on confidence or suffering from injuries to key players always helps. Avoiding teams when they are on a good run, or when they have just appointed a new manager would also be good. There is quite a bit of luck involved really over the course of a season, but the fixture list won't tell us much regarding the shape teams will be in when they play us.
