For instance if the stadium was sold out but 1,000 ST holders didn't bother to turn up the walk ups still couldn't get in. The figure shown is basically sold seats not actual attendance. At least counting seats sold is something measurable and certain. Otherwise someone would have to have a guess as to how many season ticket seats are empty. Unworkable.
