This is the one I got my final warning on when bought in a moment of love struck weakness last year ,,, bloody women

I treated myself over Christmas having fallen in love with the rubber band version saw in a magazine. My missus convinced me it was the right thing to do weirdly, never been into super expensive watches, it’s better than funding the Apple Christmas party apparently and one to hand down.

Not sure a rubber strap will last years mind you, may see if I can pick up a spare now and store it.

Yep really nice , there’s something nice about skeleton watches and clear backs so you can see the movement ,,, automatic movement every time for me ,there’s something I love about the engineering of automatic watch movements ,, I think strap should be ok as tag still replace the strap for my 14 year old carrera

I’m ok , he didn’t let me out the shop with it,,, but your right it’s too much money for anybody to be wearing on their wrist ,,

some of the Bremont s are nice looking watches and a bit less obvious but can’t justify buying another watch

I have a Bremont U2 Blue dial which I bought 2014. I have been really happy with it. I wanted a watch that looked nice, is really scratch resistant, is accurate and that's just what I got.

What’s the view on hublot? Very popular but can’t make my mind up

Hublot has put a lot of money into advertising and it is paying off big. It has become very popular very fast.

This is the watch I've had for over 10yrs. I bought it with money left to me when my father sadly passed away. I had an issue with it a couple of years after I bought it and the after service I got from the jeweller I bought it from was shoddy to say the least. I have to say though that when Raymond Weil got involved they were very good and for that reason I would recommend their products to anyone interested.

Lovely watch.

I do like it when you get a glimpse of the movement through the back case for some reason.

Not really a watch to dream on for but just echoing revels regard for Christopher Ward watches. I have two and am really impressed by their accuracy. Very reasonably priced for the standard of workmanship.

Bought one for the missus for her 40th, way back in the mists of time, and it's never missed a beat.

A few years later bought her another in their sales for the sum of £40, just for day to day wear, and when it packed up a year later they replaced it no quibbles.

Good customer service, great looking watches, and a reasonable price, what's not to like?

Bought her a Longines a few weeks back, be interesting to see how it stacks up.
