Ramrob reacted to LERam in Rav Morrison
So happy for Ravel at the moment, he's settled, feeling loved, and just starting to really find his feet
I really worry for him in particular if Derby go down the drain.
It would be a real shame for him to finally find somewhere he feels at home, for it then to be taken away with liquidation.
If we go down, and Rooney leaves, I really hope he clicks with the next manager, decides to stay, and gets a few good season's under his belt.

Ramrob reacted to Ram-Alf in Breaking down following the Rams
Hartlepool in the FA cup not a breakdown so read on, It was my turn to drive the mini bus, All good happily going down the A1 for a few beers in York, Pull off the motorway and the lads wanted to take a leak, So pulled over into a layby, Mad rush to get out...only 2 lads started to squeeze through the door one pushed the other into the windscreen...and pop it came out all the way, I managed to grab hold before it hit the ground
Most were not happy least of all me, It was a mini bus hired from Atwal's van hire(no he wasn't Dutch)rang the AA they said we're not coming out for 3 hours at the earliest, I told them I had a bus load of pensioners from a day out and they're freezing cold, OK they said we'll send a man out ASAP
AA man turns up, Then asks where are the pensioners, All in the bus shelter mate, He wanders a few yards to see 14 half pi$$ed lads, Not happy was the man, We chucked him a tenner and 20mins later the windscreen is in place, Told Atwal's a half cocked story and got our full deposit back.
Happy Days ?

Pickford, Phillips, Maguire and Shaw were all far better than average at the Euros.

Ramrob reacted to sage in We are not defeated
Regardless of the score tomorrow
Regardless of our league position
Regardless of whether we are taken over by Appleby, Ashley or go to into liquidation, we are not defeated.
Whilst we, the fans love our club
Whilst the players give their all
Whilst when Saturday comes we still gather ourselves, our loved ones, our friends, our tickets, our scarves with that glint in our eye, we are not defeated.
In August whether we are in the Championship, League One or the Northern Premier League we will be full of pride, because we are part of something that money can't buy or take away.
We are Derby.
We are not defeated.

Ramrob reacted to Mucker1884 in Daily Mail Article 50 year anniversary a positive post
Regardless of how things go from here on in, I reckon we should all turn up in sombreros for the last match v Cardiff.
A nod to better times... the best times... if nothing else! ?

I was privileged to be asked by @Matt_Barlow_DM of the Daily Mail to assist him in putting together a full double page article celebrating the 50 year anniversary of Derby County becoming the Champions of England, please share its a great write up, so great to see something positive about our great club.

Ramrob reacted to Day in Please don't go on the pitch tomorrow.
There has been social media campaigns to see fans on the pitch. Bringing attention to our dire situation.
Going on the pitch tomorrow will only hurt the club, as in the staff, management and players.
Quantuma, EFL, will not have a sleepless night.
We are in desperate times, I understand, feel the frustration and anger.
I have created this topic using my own voice, my own thoughts with no communication from anyone at the club in the hope it keeps some fans off the pitch.
Just one fan, using his own voice asking you all to stop and think.
There has to be better ways in letting our voices be heard without affecting the team.
So far this season, the one positive we can take is the support for this club, it's been second to none.
There is one man tomorrow that deserves that same level of support, one man that does not deserve to see his remaining games abandoned for crowd trouble.
Wayne Rooney.
Come on Derby!

Ramrob reacted to Woodley Ram in The Administration Thread
I think we have to be careful with the power of social media at the moment.
lots coming out, but unless it’s from an official source then it’s rumour and conjecture.
journalists are paid to sell print, I doubt if any have the full picture and fill the blanks in with gossip.
I personally think we will have a new owner but the most important thing at the moment is to support the team

Ramrob reacted to Rev in What is your favourite song of all time?
It's a terrible question, in that if you asked me every day for a year, I'd give you 300+ answers!
So much of the enjoyment of music is down to mood, environment, company, etc, that I find it hard to believe people who can name the one song and stand by it.

Ramrob reacted to Geriatram in A very sad post
My friend has not long left of his life, He has terminal cancer and has maybe only weeks to live. He had his first season ticket when he came out of the army in the mid fifties, and has had it every season since, and then when he married in 1963 his wife had one too, they never missed a home match, but then covid came along and they have not been again. We have a mutual friend who lives in the USA he is in the UK this week end and is taking my friend to what is likely to be his last match ever. I'm just hoping if there are any protests it wont affect the match. So please spare a thought or a prayer if your so minded on Saturday. I wont say his name as he hated social media as much as he loved the Rams. So UP THE RAMS P will be thinking of you.
