Guess it shows how much I love our annoying frustrating Derby that I irrationally end up really hating every team we play

I believe we have hired the manager that will ultimately take us back to the Premier League.

Preferable to the ones trawling down Normanton Road in the 80's, although it's fair to say they regretted that decision rather quickly.  Attacking an  arcade full of 15 year olds was their 5 minutes of glory.  Downhill from there. 

For the first time in 28 years me and my friend are season ticket holders again - the Oxfordshire Rams are back in business! ??

If we sell 15k season tickets it will be phenomenal, truly exceptional support, we would start the season averaging around 17/18k 
After what we've been through coupled with the economic tsunami enveloping us, it would be a fantastic show from this great fanbase of ours.
If, if, we get anywhere near 18 or 20k  ST's then I will run out of terminology to describe the magnificent awesomeness of the devoutness of the diaspora of Derby County FC devotees.?
There will be games where we have very little away support at Pride Park, some games we won't have horrible away fans like Brum, Stoke, Gumps etc to bait (at least we'll have Sheffield's second club I suppose), there'll be cold days playing average football, Division 3 is brutal, but we can make this season as enjoyable as the last one from a fans point of view.
Bring it on, the South Stand is going to be full, the SW corner too, lets get behind Liam and the boys with loud, passionate support from the first game no matter how many are in the ground.
 
 
 
 
 

Yup, good luck Tom. Never shared the negativity of others towards him. Yeah, he made a mistake with the crash incident and he was inconsistent at times and a little hot headed at others.
But when he was good, he was good. And if you took the Top 5 of is thirty or so goals for Derby, they'd be up there with all the other greats.

My first visit to Bradford was 1985 and consisted Of mainly getting pelted with broken terracing concrete all afternoon by the home supporters, who were still furious that Roy Mac had left them to join up with Arthur Cox.

It depends which bit of the club you're referring to. I think that those of us that come through it, staff, players, supporters,  will have an even stronger bond. We're like a survivors network!

Stoke is definitely a case of “little man” syndrome. Never won anything and surrounded by footballing neighbours who have. Even Leicester are on the board now, but Stoke, nope, still sh*te.
