Books about walking particularly in the mountains if ever in need of a pick up then any of Wainwright’s Pictorial Guides to the Lakeland Fells do it for me. Having said that favourite book is Waterlog by Roger Deakin arguably the catalyst for the wild swimming craze we have today, a spellbinding read.

Just seen a bloke coming out of Tesco with 4 crates of San Miguel, 5 paellas and 3 sombreros, I thought to myself............

Wednesday night home match v Reading. The Rams on minus 2 points, in administration, without an owner and massive uncertainty over the future, against a poor team with a tiny away support and yet we had an atmosphere at times that was as electric as anything i've felt in my 50 years as a Ram.
Hairs stood up time as stood in the middle of the South Stand and heard the roar build up from the East and West stands, never felt that raw passion and support since the Baseball Ground years. No play off or promotion glory to get excited over, just survival, backs to the wall Derby support.
Proud af to be a Ram tonight.

Are you watching mel Morris ,,,,,, THIS is the Derby way , fans ,players , manager who fill you with pride , a manager by the way who is staying and giving his all to Derby county even though you couldn’t even tell him you a supposed one of our own super fans was bailing out and we were going into admin and left it to sky sports ,
god knows how this season ends and even if it’s the end for Derby county but we are standing and fighting , I’m one proud lifelong Derby fan

Sad news today that founder member of the original Quo Alan Lancaster has died aged 72. The Quo provided the background noise to my teenage years at their peak in the 70’s.
 
I saw the ‘Frantic Four’ play three times on their Reunion gigs in 2013/14 and seeing Alan on stage again in fine voice despite clearly physically struggling was very emotional. Rest in Peace Alan a great rock bass guitarist and singer.

Uncontrolled Farting when bending over/walking/laughing/etc…on the plus side loss of sense of smell?

Binge watched all 6 episodes last night. Exceptional! funny, moving, covers so many real issues to make you think but immensely entertaining and some fantastic one liners and great acting. Will be watching it all again no doubt.
