Assume aim of march is publicity? So whoever leads singing esp as we get towards the ground needs to ensure we are not singing **** the efl or that gibson song or it wont be shown on anything and we shoot ourselves in foot

Tbf to Birmingham an attendance like that suggests they've sold out their allocated tickets as well.

So the local MPs are meeting the EFL and administrators tomorrow.
………bit more of this please Marg!

I assure him, and through him the Football League, that if, inadvertently—because the Football League is unable to remove the obstacles that at the moment it appears to be putting so firmly in Derby County’s way—that were to happen, none of those participating in it would be forgiven.”…….Margaret Beckett 18/1/2022

This will be a game all about the adrenaline and emotion, and along with the urgency and passion of the crowd, the players will be 'fired-up' to perform.
I think this is the day fans, watching on TV, from all around the country, will see what a club means to their fans and community.
I predict: Derby County 4 - Birmingham City 1 FRGS: Knight

Assembly Room Car Park should be OK on a Sunday. If you want super-safe, the Parksafe on Bold Lane is the best, though 5 minutes walk to Assembly Rooms and between £5 - 10.20 maximum depending on length of stay.

We wont be spending much regardless of who the owner is. The EFL will still limit the amount we can spend on wages/transfers for a couple of years if we exit administration

It would be frustrating if the Binnie family or Ashley don't clear the debt enough to avoid another minus 15 points deduction next season.

    When you're tired and weary,
Your heart will skip a beat,
You'll get your funking head messed up,
When you read a Nixon tweet.
    But on streets of Teeside,
    They'll hear a mighty roar,
Eff off you pube haired barsteward,
    We are the Derby boys.

Haven’t read rest of thread but I thought Rooney got it wrong  today think Plange should’ve started and ebosele from bench too seems to have been working when legs are tired
don’t think Plange coming on with 25 to go has as much impact as CKR coming on …off days for Bird and Thompson for me and Morrison as usual slows the game down and doesn’t make the quick obvious pass thought Joziak would’ve come on instead of Sibley ( did he touch the ball ?) also when Cooper changed it we seemed to not react to it tactically
still great effort and still lots to play for …think we missed Jags today hope Bielik back soon

Wanted him gone after last season and made no bones about it. Also said that if we kept him another season, I'd be 100% behind him and the team. Watching some of the passing movements in recent games I was reminded of some of the gorgeous one touch football we played under Mac1. That's pretty high praise for someone who appeared completely lost last season and has a threadbare squad made up of talismanic, but creaking old warriors and kids who probably don't shave yet. Honestly, I think the personal growth of Rooney, Rosenior and critically the team itself has been astounding, especially given the backdrop against which it's manifested.
Will he go? My hunch would be that he would if asked, but I don't think he'll be flashing his knickers like Lampard did. He's worked hard, learned from his errors and is now starting to impress a style of play on the group. What's more, he seems genuinely happy at the moment as does Liam which did not always look likely.
Obviously I'd be gutted to see him go, but he's owes us nothing at all. I don't think there'd be any of the acrimony associated with Lampard's departure at all, indeed I think most Rams fans would sincerely wish him well. What is comforting right now is the knowledge that should Everton indeed come calling, we have a ready-made replacement in Curtis Davies.

Mel Morris, Steve Gibson, Rick Parry and Wayne Rooney are all multi-millionaires.
All are fans of their local clubs, all grew up supporting clubs where the vast majority of fans were ordinary people who want nothing more than to be able to traipse along to the club they love and support on a Saturday with like minded folk and cheer, moan, feel extreme highs and lows but whatever, still do it week after week, year after year.
Three of them made their money as businessmen, one made his as one of the best professional footballers of his generation.
One of them has more love of the game than the other three could ever imagine was possible. One understands the players, club employees and fans.
One has a sense of loyalty, a sense of what it truly means to be a football fan.
Wayne Rooney has more decency, loyalty, empathy and morality than the other 3 chancers put together.
Rooney will be remembered as a great player, possibly a great manager, and definitely a true football man who inspired several generations of football fans and players.
The other three will be remembered as corrupt, greedy chancers who betrayed the ordinary football supporter and tried to destroy a football club out of greed, spite, personal vendettas and cowardice.
