WR shouldn't need much motivation for this one, I'm sure everyone
will be up for this - could be a cricket score, but would settle for a 1nil 
we do need to win, or at least not lose, as that could be disastrous confidence wise
 

We're not doing too bad as long as we can get some important wins over the line, starting Saturday.

Marriott starting for them. Really hope he doesn't come back to haunt us. Had real high hopes for a partnership blossoming between him and Chris Martin. Seemed a good match up to me but we rarely saw them on the pitch at the same time.
No real beef with the lad. In the end it seemed to be a combination of injuries and rumoured poor attitude that cut short a promising Rams career. Just hope Curtis Davies is careful when taking him out of his pocket at the end of the game. Wouldn't like to see him getting injured again. 

A draw better than a defeat but need to be looking for 3 points….

Derby have been unlucky here. Both of Boro’s opening goals were fortunate and then to rub salt into the wounds Crooks, who should have seen red, netted in injury time (tine allocated from his own dreadful tackle).
I thought Boro would beat us today regardless but it really doesnt help when you get such poor luck against you.
As for Boro. Grubby place, grubby club. They’re so ugly they and Gibson deserve each other.
No matter how bad you feel right now, just be grateful you don’t live in that hole of a city and support such a souless club.

We could have Mrs Doubtfire in defence with Curtis Davies and I’d still feel confident with Bird and Bielik above them such is my belief that Bielik is the best player in this division by a distance. ?

Looks like time is now crucial to get a new owner in as we are officially 83 million on debt with a bank balance of only £630,000.
It won't take long for that small amount in the bank to dry up.

That's somewhat different to surviving a 21 point deduction with a squad/manager who've only won 4 games of football in 6 months of play.

Best supported team home and away. New owner, vibrant young team with a couple of decent goal scorers. Challenging for promotion....jumpers for goalposts.........

He definitely deserves it.
He's managing to win games (and not lose against better sides) with a team of mismatched veterans and youngsters, while the club is essentially on fire behind the scenes, and he's somehow managing to do this while also getting us playing a more attractive style of football than last season.
More than we could ask for, and certainly more than could have been expected based on last season.

Just seen that Wayne Rooney has been nominated for September Manager of the month, thoroughly deserved for the way he has managed the team with everything going on.......not sure who decides the winner hopefully not the EFL

They scored from a couple of mistakes, a poor back pass and an unlucky deflection into a players path. They didn't even make their own luck.

What doesn't work is no threat up front. #simples

We need a bit more luck with decisions by the officials.
We need a stronger squad.
Another point towards staying up and with all the off the field issues during the summer it's probably the best we can hope for.
