I don't think Appleby will have problem finding a "money man" seeing as they had wealthy backers last time (albeit they didn't wanna spend). 
Steve Morgan and another backer seem to be the money. It'll all be legit and Appleby will very likely be honest about it, rather than Kirchner beating around the bush on who his backer was.

Watched Don't Look Up yesterday at the cinema. 5/10
The IMDB ratings are pretty good on this but I thought it was incredibly slow and boring. There were a couple of funny moments in but for saying it's got quite an all star cast (Jennifer Lawrence, Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Leo DiCaprio, Cate Blanchett), I thought it was quite poor.
It's coming out on Netflix soon anyway, save yourself the money and watch it on there instead.

Watched Spiderman last night, loved it. No spoilers, would recommend anyone to watch it at the cinema.

He is an Everton fan.

I think if Everton wanted him, essentially it's like any normal transfer. You get a fee for a manager like you would a player. So they'll bid a sum and we either accept it or decline, they don't have to buy out his contract. So they'd probably bid a low amount and quite frankly, I think we'd accept a low amount.

Might be controversial but I wouldn't be against him going. 
We will get a few million in compensation for him leaving and we get his massive wages off the budget. Interim manager until the end of the season and a new manager to start afresh in June, hopefully under new ownership.
