1967RAMS reacted to Comrade 86 in Jozwiak
I've read some right nonsense about this lad on here and on Twatter and the like. IMO, he's a talented young lad and we're lucky to have him. Hopefully he can really kick on this season as it must have been a proper baptism of fire last year.
It's often the case that young players coming from abroad take a season to settle in and I think with Bielik's injury, being stuck away from home under lockdown, playing in a side so short of confidence, not to mention reading some of the garbage spewed about him in the dark recesses of social media, it really can't have been easy. If we actually play with a bit of tempo this season, I can see him doing really well. His work ethic is superb and that earns him some credit with me irrespective.

He could choose to ignore the idiots in our fan base and respect the vast majority of sensible fans. Or choose to react to idiots and risk disrespecting the vast majority. Can’t say I have strong feelings either way for players who leave the club. With the exception of Will Hughes who I hope will have a great career. I will happily applaud a x ram on his return to the club but will never give one stick as it tends to fire them up and bite us on the arse

1967RAMS reacted to Jayram in This is what we’re up against
Let’s be honest none of us would give a toss about parachute payments/FFP if we were comfortably bobbing along in the Prem so it’s hypocritical of us to whine about it. As for making football finances fairer I seem to recall that Morris (and a few others) wanted to effectively duplicate the Premier League model for clubs in the Championship when the last EFL TV deal was made with Sky, and have more of the EFL money redistributed to the detriment of L1 & 2 clubs. Football is a sport full of self interest, the turkeys are never going to vote for Christmas so we are stuck with it as it is.
