I've been open minded on Erik so far, but this has tipped me over the edge to being against him. The Matt Southall links, the Indonesian links, the Vox links, the allegations of a lack of money, I could look past them, but there's absolutely no way I want our club ran by someone that uses TikTok.

I don't believe any commentator is in the know. Just a generic comment given everything thats happening.

Well, the feeling's mutual so I'm sorry to disappoint you; I'll try to explain where I'm coming from as we're on the same page with a lot of what you say.
1) I'm not necessarily arguing with your assessment of Mel's tenure; my point is that if he has had enough (and he clearly has) and wants out asap, he has nothing to gain by making the type of public statements that @therams69 wants him to. I think we can all see we have moved away from "selling to someone perfect for DCFC" to "selling to whoever I can". Hence the flirtations with Gabay, Dell, BZI, Alonso and loans, charges, refinancing etc etc . He's personally bankrolled the club for the last year or so without wanting to/ got loans to cover costs, and if someone doesn't like the look of £1m plus leaving his personal bank account every month with no end in sight he won't worry too much about selling to whoever comes up with the cash first. 
Therefore, as noble as your sentiments undoubtedly are, he can't guarantee anything - the future of the club, that he will continue to bankroll it etc etc because it doesn't represent the reality. He could do all you say but he doesn't want to (and he has that right), and that's the crucial point, and therefore coming out and saying all will be well, I'll sell to the perfect DCFC buyer and will continue to fund the club until that happens is disingenuous. That was the point I was trying to make.
2) As for Stephen Pearce, everyone will have their view regards his ability as a leader and CEO, but the fact is for the last two years he's been operating in an environment where there is no strategic direction, where decisions are impossible given constant takeovers hanging over the club, where he has to find money month after month from somewhere to pay the wages. Then Covid hit, and for the last 14 months he's had to run a club with zero income. It's a hard job and in my opinion he deserves credit for keeping it going rather than calls for his resignation.

Thought he was brilliant today. Took up great positions, made theatening runs, took people on, fast direct passing. Did a real shift in defence, too, and saved us a goal. And while others jogged about and scowled at each other and looked like they thought they were too good to have to try, and hard-done-by by the universe, he played like a pro.
You can say 'yeah he does all that but no end product'. But come on: if the likes of Lawrence and Waghorn (and even CKR) did their main jobs as well as he did his, we'd have won today. You can't blame him for not doing _everything_ when some others don't seem to be doing _anything_

It's got "all talk, no substance" slapped all over it. 

I'm pleased with the interview he did with Chris Coles. My one red line before the takeover is that I don't want someone who currently holds far right views to run the club - it's not a high bar. He claimed that Vox used his local minor celebrity status to raise their profile without his permission. I'm still quite sceptical and suspect that he did have some affinity with them, but he also pointed out that they have a racist ideology and he does not. He put some daylight between them and his current position. I'll be watching carefully for what else crawls out of the woodwork, but at this point I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
As for the rest - he comes across as a bit of fantasist. It's like my plans when I start a new game of football manager. It will take something extraordinary for 29 year old with zero experience to turn around this club. A £ billion would do it, but it doesn't seem like he has money to burn, so he needs to get most of his decision right. 
My head says this will end badly. His backing is not obvious and the Matt Southall connection concerns me. But the romantic in me says he must be a quite extraordinary individual to even be in a position to put in a bid which is being taken seriously by the club. The club certainly needs some fresh ideas and energy and there's an outside chance that he could be that 'left field' force which shakes the club out of its stupor.

They say any player aged over 18 and playing in a 'top 5 league' is almost guaranteed a work permit (England, France, Germany, Spain, Italy).
15 points are required to pass the points based system, although a regular player in a top 50 FIFA World Ranking national team automatically gets a pass - Costa Rica, Ghana, Egypt, Romania, Iran, just to name a few. A player to have have in just 1 game for a top 10 country (currently Denmark and Uruguay) gets 8 points
If ranked below 50, they have to be a regular to get just 2 points
Points are also awarded based on minutes played in domestic leagues and more still based on where they finish in the table.
Players get additional points for playing in continental club competitions and extra for progressing further in the competition.

I disagree that he's seen 'plenty' of the ball around the opposition area, it's the complete opposite.
The main area he sees the ball is 35-40 yards out, 10 yards in from the side of the pitch, facing his own goal and given the task of supporting the runs of Byrne. There are no runners from central midfield and often little to aim for up top aside from CKR, surrounded by defenders. 
Jozwiak's work has helped create a number of situations for Byrne to get his crosses in, but there's nobody out there really providing any support to Jozwiak himself. He's almost expected to do it all on his own.
If we had a creative central midfielder doing for Jozwiak what Jozwiak does for Byrne he'd be producing more.
You're still picking apart ONE chance when someone actually played a good ball to him, because that's pretty much the only one he's been given for the past however many weeks. The only one I can remember before that is Bielik playing him a lovely ball and putting him through the with keeper, Jozwiak having a decent shot the keeper could only push into the path of CKR to score.

Muckerette got an invite text (From GP) on Thursday.  Booked straight away, through the swiftqueue app, and got in yesterday.  She's not 56 until July.  Using this route, she was given her second appointment, but that can then be changed, if not suitable.  (Her NHS letter was on the mat when we got back home from her appointment).
Last weekend (Sat 6th) I got my NHS letter through the post, and booked straightaway through the NHS site, which was then showing 56 and over.  (I'm 58).  I'm booked in for next Friday 19th, due to work commitments, but could have got a next day appointment, for last Sunday 7th.  I could choose my own appointment for the second jab, limited to between 11 to 12 weeks from first appointment.  I'm booked for 10th June (but could have had from 4th to 11th June).

Muckerette did try to book herself in at the same time as me (Last Saturday 6th) "On the off-chance" but failed, presumably due to her date of birth, so it's gone from 56 to 55 during the past week.

Fair play to him, seems to be enjoying his life out there. I don't understand why more players don't do it - broaden your horizons, earn cult hero status, earn the same money, learn a new culture without having to worry about a new language, all while being able to walk down the street without being recognised. He's a good egg, deserves it.
