Davies got a lot of deserved credit for signing a waiver to help the cause on the final game of the season and went on to become a Derby icon for what he did for the badge that day. However did we forget about Waggy for the grit and determination he also showed that game? Real body on the line stuff and motivating from the side line.
It shows that both love the club (like we do) but Waggy's heroics seemed to have got overshadowed by Davies.
I'd say give him a shot, strength in depth and all that.

I'm not sure the rest of his season undermines the comment that he did perform 'heroics' on that day though; without him we'd have been relegated?
Davies put his body on the line and showed great courage but Waggy actually delivered the goods that kept us up. In terms of impact on the game, Waghorn had far, far more influence. Both were heroes on that day, in my eyes.

Two biggest takeaways, having a manager out with you running at 7am, you'll want to run through brickwalls for that type of manager.
Collins is looking in great shape really big season for him!

I've seen people going only 2 million??
To put this in perspective Clowes bought Derby County all in for around 50 million, this would mean Knight for 2 million is 4% of the Football Clubs whole value, ground included. Take that in, 1 player for "pitiful!" 2 million has the same value as 4% of the whole Football Club.
Too many people pay attention to the Premier League and the insane transfers up there, where 2 million is peanuts but for us and where we are 2 million is a decent amount and should go far.
On a side note I'm actually happy we're selling players I though the Derby way was buy for millions and release on a free at the end of their contract.

I'm the same, will it be like that again who knows but what I will say it could be worse. Look at some ex-prem teams Oldham, Swindon, Bradford plus a few more.
What I will say that gives me hope is that we've seen teams go down to league one and it allowed them to have a sort of soft reset remove some overpaid deadwood and came back to the Championship better for it, that is my hope for Derby in the short term.
But as you said it only takes one season for this to change, negative look at Chelsea this season, positive look at Brighton this season or the exceptional look at Leicester a few seasons back! Nothing is certain in football and we love it for it.

We're a lower league club. Sorry to break the news to you unless you've been in suspended animation for the last year.
Unfortunately Tuchel and Parker declined the exciting opportunity to become our new manager.

This is it, I'm stick to death of twisting we've twisted for so many years and look where it has got us? Every time it hasn't been better, it's been pretty much the same with the only difference being the name on the managers parking space and I'm tired of it.
If this was always the plan and LR knew he was only keeping the seat warm then fine BUT if we're just (again) going for another manager because we're not smashing the league I'll be very disappointed.
This club needs stability more than ever and this change (assuming LR was led to believe this role could lead to permanent) just reeks of our old ways, same goals, same desperation of "twisting" on managers to get promoted.
I hope I'm wrong and if/when Warne joins us we stick with him just because we're not bossing the league...

Not sure how I feel about Liam seems like a decent manager and a genuinely nice guy, I'm seeing Huddersfield are also targeting Warne and I cannot believe for a second that we have relieved LR of his managerial duties without securing someone else.
