I doubt he's ready for the physicality of the Championship at such a young age, it doesn't matter how talented he is, it's a tough league for anyone so young.

It would be great to see him move to Liverpool and become the player he has the potential to be knowing our academy shaped him. It's testament to our academy that we're receiving seven figure sums for teenagers who haven't even started a first team game yet. 
As much as I'd love to see him become the best player in the country at Derby, that just isn't ever going to happen unless we were also up there with the likes of Liverpool. Who could begrudge the kid a move like that anyway?

Just listened to CKR interview on RamsTV.......... I could listen to him all day!  Such an engaging and inspirational speaker and will be as big an influence off the pitch as he is on it.  I know he’s 34 but as he says, “age is just a number” and for me he deserves at least another 12 months contract and probably 2 years.

I tell you now I saw hundreds and thousands of people criticizing AJ after the Ruiz 2 fight and see it still nowadays before this fight and when Fury fights. I don't know how you can say AJ isn't there quite yet, he's an Olympic gold medallist and 4 belts. He's also got the best CV out of the current heavyweight crop, even gave Wilder his best offer, yet Wilder dodged him to fight Fury (1st fight), who he thought was going to be easy. AJ hasn't had a bad fight (quality of opponent wise) since Gary Cornish 11 fights ago.

As part of a personal mission to make a difference both to myself and others next year, and hopefully to also provide a boost to our local healthcare services, I am committing myself to running 10k each time Derby County fail to win a game (i.e. draw or lose) during 2021. If current form is anything to go by, I'll be stick thin by March!
I have started a GoFundMe page to hopefully do a bit of good while also having a bit of fun following our beloved Rams next year.
