    Remember this.
At half time, when you went from one end of the Popside to the other, but the back of the terrace was already full, some random bloke would shout "We are the Rams", then everyone would join in "Oh yes we are the Rams", then everyone would jump up and down and move forward at the same time, allowing those at the back to sneak in.
The atmosphere on the Popside and the Colombo terrace was amazing, whatever was happening on the pitch.
Those days are long gone now.
I guess 'the bounce' is the nearest modern day equivalent.

Got tickets over the weekend for me and my mate who haven't been since the lockdown.
Travelling down by train though, due to the fuel situation.
For once have to commend the club for swiftly sorting out my Fan ID password problems on Saturday ?.
Managed to get decent priced train tickets as well which was a bonus.
Also got the chance to stop over with my old man on Wednesday.
    Can't wait.

    Indeed it is.
Like him or loathe him, Simon Jordan has been saying this on TalkSport for some time now. He also says there isn't sufficient desire from within the game to change it.
Either the government instill some regulation, or the game we love will continue to spiral out of control.
DCFC certainly won't be the last club facing financial meltdown. I wonder how many more Championship clubs will end up with points deductions before the season is out.
Wouldn't it be so Derby for a number of other clubs to get points deducted, and we somehow stay up?

Addingham Ram got a reaction from Raich Carter in How's everyone feeling this morning?
I rarely get to games these days. Living two hours away, and with a very busy family life (all non football lovers ?) makes it almost impossible.
But like others, I would also have loved to be there today to show my support for the team, and the club that has been such a huge part of my life for the best part of 50 years.
I never saw the best years.
I did however have a season ticket for over twenty years. I was there when the club almost went bust all those years ago. I went to nearly every game home and away in the old third division. I was at the final game at the BBG, and the first game(s) at Pride Park (the actual first game that was abandoned and the first game proper), and I've see us win, and lose at Wembley.
Derby County is in my blood, like so many others on this forum.
The club will survive, it may even come back stronger, who knows.
Strangely, the uncertainty is sometimes what makes it all worth the while. Who'd want to follow a nothing club, never in the news and no history?

But we don't plug the gap in the back with a cdm (central defensive midfielder I presume), we plug the gap with one of our attacking midfielders. So Morrison drops back to collect the ball from a centre back, both reducing our attacking threat, and leaving him to either punt up field to one of our strikers (who were completely dominated by their defenders), or a pass to Bird or Shinnie, who are then more advanced than Morrison.
    I just don't get it.
And as for pressing the opposition, how come every team seems to be able to do it except us?
Completely dillusioned with the performance of the team at the moment. Still going backwards in my opinion.

Getting my Wembley and my Warsaw all mixed up. Easily done.

When you put it like that, it just goes to show what a crazy club we support.
The only memorable (or should I say forgettable) moments you missed from my personal point of view were the Wembley loss to Leicester, and the floodlight failure on the first game at PP. It could only happen to us!
Of the so called big clubs, only Man City have really faced any hardship over recent times, although fans of all the big clubs would argue otherwise, just because they miss out on the top four every now and then.
Who would really swap being a Ram for any other club.
    Not me.
