Clearly the efl are going to try and relegate us through the re submission of our accounts which, are no doubt,already calculated.
I can't see how we won't be in breach or we wouldnt have tried it on in the first place and submitted them in a different manner to every other team in the country.
I'm starting to think that league 1 in six weeks is inevitable and that a total reset and a fresh start is perhaps what's required,if nothing else but to get the efl permanently off our backs.
I just want to watch Derby play football,I'm sick of this.
 
 

Yep they have worn us down

Problem is can any of you see an end to all of this off the pitch garbage? I am just so very fed up with anything Derby at the moment. I get Mel has totally pissed off the EFL, generally his gambles have imploded and The EFLs job is to uphold their rules whatever we think of the rules and EFL but the EFL seem absolutely hell bent on destroying Derby now. They know full well how the timing of this will damage us. How is this any way for a so called "professional body" to behave. It is now just vindictive and just seems very personal towards Mel which is not right. 

It does have the feel of an ungracious, face-saving statement to me. 
The real story is we have been fined 100k. EFL basically turning that around to saying they have won and we now need to fall in line, kiss the ring, grovel a bit and give them what they want...or else.. 

Nail and head @CBRammette. This is all about payback to Mel because he exposed the EFL’s total incompetence over the TV Rights deal and almost toppled them with the breakaway league suggestion. Football is broken thanks to the ignorant suits who run the game.

Who decides on the appeal? The same panel who decided the £100k fine or the other one or a new one? If the EFL appeal is successful can we then appeal that? The timing stinks as we are effectively being punished more than either a fine or a points deduction with this limbo we are stuck in preventing any planning for next season. It is also not fair on Wycombe - how can they plan either? The only thing giving me optimism is the timing the EFL have snuck this out at.  Suggests they are trying to hide it. However as usual noone involved seems to care about the fans (of both clubs) and the poor Derby staff who are presumably living under much uncertainty in many cases

I've already made a decent rant on the EFL, I don't think I've got the anger left as they've managed to drain all my emotions for football. Accountability zero. It's bitterness from people with a personal vendetta against the owner. Nothing to do with actual football. Political point scoring in the board rooms. I wonder who suffers from their endless stream of slop.

Wycombe and their fans are not the enemy here. The EFL have demonstrated their incompetence multiple times in the past. The way this has been managed, culminating in a press release a few hours ahead of the fixture list, shows how unfit for purpose they are. They are not alone with the FA and Premier league providing good company. As always fans come a poor second
