My fading memory recalls a great shot stopper but a bit weak on crosses. I could be completely wrong. Goalkeepers generally got POTY in those days because they were so busy and the rest of the team, except the magnificent Steve Buckley (obviously), was complete dross! 

Scoring 4 at Elland Road in a play off semi final is just so passé.

I have a fondness for ‘Andy Comyn round the mountain when he comes’ started at Sunderland away (lashed it down after the game) and always liked the Phil Gee one - ‘Philip Gee, Philip Gee, Philip Gee, Philip Gee - scoring goals for Derby, Philip Gee’. Both totally unique which in the world of ubiquitous football chants is a rarity to be celebrated.

I remember being rather incensed by Wanchope’s sending off against Middlesbrough. I still recall the atmosphere that day, as the ten men went on to beat them, as being amongst the best. Derby fans are always at their best when faced with a bit of injustice, I have always thought. 
Harry Kewell’s dive was a disgrace. Cheating is part of that club’s DNA. 
I am also still irrationally annoyed by Bobby Davison getting a yellow card after colliding with Martin Hodge on a frozen BBG pitch in an FA cup tie. I think I should let that one go really!

A milkmaid in a revealing bodice?

I wonder who got the one saying the number of minutes missed due to going early/drinking pints during the game/forgetting you were there to watch a football match. 
I don’t know how they did it but mine calculated 1578 minutes of moaning about footballers not being able to kick it with both feet. 
Great email - nice touch. I wonder if Forest get one calculating number of incorrect VAR decisions made? If I were them, I simply wouldn’t accept it.
