  1. I saw Aziz Ansari in St Petersburg a couple of years ago, he was truly awful..gutted because I was really looking forward to seeing him. All he did was shout mainly about “being brown”…It got old very quickly…

also, there was a strictly no phones allowed thing, where you had to put your phone into a magnetic bag thing that could only be opened outside the venue….. just weird

also saw Peter Kay once at the height of his fame, and he basically regurgitated all the jokes you have heard a million times by him all night, it was like watching his dvd, so disappointing as I think he is an absolute genius

I once went mackerel fishing in Scotland. The stupid duckers were almost hurling themselves into the boat. It was years ago and I cannot remember how long we were out, but I know I caught close on 30.

Which is close on 30 more than I ever caught fishing for trout on the Derwent near Matlock.

So my conclusion is mackerel are thick, trout not so much.

Yeah they are supposed to be really stupid, had 3 on the same hook this weekend.

Agree, it's great, such a calming, heart warming show and so different from most other stuff I'm watching at the moment.  The camaraderie between the two of them is there for all to see.  As an ex-match fisherman, it cracks me up each week watching Bob's fishing technique, or lack of it and Paul's reaction "Bob!  BOB!! You've got a bite! Bob, stop winding! Let some line out.  No! Not like that, what are you doing?!".  Brilliant, innocent, TV.

I have recently taken up fishing….and I mean Barry taken It up, I go out on the boat fishing for mackerel (which is the easiest thing in the world to catch by all accounts) anyway….every time I get one I turn into a cross between Bob and Paul, shouting “I’m in” and jumping around.

Reading away.. Elm Park. Massive following. Derby everywhere.

    Shrewsbury away.

We had some huge followings in those day. Carefree.

Bournemouth away was a trip and a half too…. And I remember there being millions of us at Lincoln in a pub near the ground and the place getting wrecked and everyone just stood get here drinking in this pub as they were fighting with locals and the police in the beer garden.

  5. First season ticket I had was on the pop side for the season we went down to division 3.
I still have my “we’ll be back in 81” (was that the year?) scarf….

the away days back then we’re amazing, going to places like Shrewsbury, Newport and Bury and absolutely taking over the town.
I can remember being so proud of the stat published in the Ram magazine where It showed you all the highest attendances for each team and there was a little * next to each team whose highest attendance was when Derby were on town, and It was almost every single one of them.
    Embrace It….

Fantastic wasn't it? Everything flawless and only 40 minutes between splashdown and disembarking. I'm sure I've been held on the tarmac at an airport for longer.

Amazing for a civilian crew to spend 3 days in space on their own, and go so very far from Earth, and under such control. It gives me confidence that the week-long "dearMoon" mission for artists to go around the Moon and back isn't as far-fetched as first appeared.  But that's in the mighty Starship which most of this thread is about, rather than the tiny Crew Dragon.

Yeah It was amazing… I was astonished how well they all looked, they bounced out of the capsule. Brilliant

Town of my upbringing..... Indeed, come on the nailors ?

He wasn't that good. Disappointing, when you think what he was with us.

Yeah, he probably wasn’t worth 8 actually.
I do find It funny how people boo him, for the majority that did boo him he would have been the best player they have ever seen in a Derby shirt….it’s like me and you booing Roy Mac or Bobby Davison.
