I may be wrong (but I doubt it ?), but I think the ref explained that he had had to warn the defenders about pushing in the wall before the free kick was taken. Let's be honest though, nobody in the BBG cared about it at the time.

Yeah that’s true, but It was never a penalty, have you heard the interview with Trevor Christie when he talks about It, they had no idea what was going on! Ha ha like you say, who cares…I still have my “promotion” flag from that night….and as a 13 year old getting “a lock in” at the pub in Nether Heage when we got back celebrating was pretty damn exciting.!

To be fair i was there that night we were cool as custard and let me tell you if we were still playing that match now we wouldnt have scored . Anyone even now know what the penalty was for , if ever there was a case of brown envelope and referee that match was it . But thank god we got up but we were so so lucky that night .

No one knows why we got the penalty,  and people complain about the standards of refs now.!!?

Played ok by the sounds of it .  Only radio today as working. Curtis Davies sounds like our best attacking option.  Sounds like Morrison was pretty anonymous again and needs a rocket up his arse ?  Not sure this squad will be happy or able to carry him.

That just shows what a complete moron Dawes is.
Morrisson was arguably the best player on the pitch today, a rolls Royce of a player…but because he isn’t scoring 35 yard screamers or running around diving into meaningless tackles then Dawes slags him off.

20 goal a season striker and we’d stay up with -21 points easily. We were that dominant it’s disappointing to not be winning probably by 2. As it stands he’s barely made a save in nets.

The mythical “20 goal a season striker” any idea how many “20 goals a season strikers” there have been in this league in the last 10 years…?

Typcial mainstream media. This is why I did not pursue journalism when I looked at going to uni years ago. No accountability for making incorrect news stories. They will add as much fuel as possible for clicks and shares, they'll never get criticised for their poor work.

Granted, Bruce will receive a nice sum if he gets let go. No amount of money replaces negative pressure on your mental health. There's aiming constructive criticism and then there's become nasty and personal. No need for it.

The 8 million compensation would do a decent job at helping him I reckon.

The news broke as I was sat in the pub with my fiancé, going over wedding plans believe it or not.

Felt like a punch to the gut on so many levels. I've almost become immune now to tabloid stories on possible point deductions, however wasn't prepared for administration.

I changed the ads on my phone, understanding that administrators would have us down with the milkman at the bottom of the priority list, that's just how it is.

There is a contract in place for the adverts with a notice period which has not been triggered by either side, however I presume the process would allow for immediate termination and have no doubts this will happen.

I have had a great relationship with a number of people at the club, people that will now be in fear of their jobs.

I'm not going to pressurise them for any kind of clarity as I'm sure they will be just as much in the dark as we have been.

Said it on many occasions, no adverts = no forum, it's been great to show you all relevant ads for RamsTV, megastore, tickets etc.

Maybe it's something that once the administration process is over can resume, I just don't know right now.

When you were talking wedding plans did she bring up that mysterious lost weekend in Orlando with me? When she told you here “plane was delayed” or is that still a touchy subject?

Hold on, you can own and carry fire arms in the old US of A let them off when you want from the back of an 8 litre pickup while lassoing wild steer.

    Ban fireworks?

Yep. Ban them… and also ban the 8 litre pick ups and the guns.
In fact any one interested in any of them drown em!

Our dog is already getting apprehensive about going out for a wee when it's dark, she knows what's coming, bless her..

Out little dog used to know weeks in advance It was coming I swear she could smell the fireworks in the shops.

they should just be banned, I have never ever bought one in my life and never will. The scrubbiest sign that you are a degenerate ever is walking out of a corner shop with a plastic bag full of fireworks.
like @Davidsaid, spend It on a Derby ticket..

I think Kamil Jozwiak is class, he just seems a little lost in the Derby set up. Always plays decent for Poland. Played well in most games this season, could get better when his mate is back in the team.

He hasn’t had 10 good games for us in al the time he has been here.

You only have to look at the reduction in the number of permanent players over the age of 21 to see that the club was trying to significantly reduce the squad size and wage bill since the end of the 2018/19 season, if not before.

Without a product, a business is dead, regardless of what the figures say. Had we turned away a firm bid for anyone that was remotely near our valuation, there might be a case for saying we weren't really trying - but there wasn't. Not one.

“Our valuation” we turned down a bid for Buchanan that I would say was pretty fair and any bid for Lawrence should have been accepted.

Yeah agreed, and worse than that - there is an obvious disconnect between the emotions of the actor's face and the emotions in the (other) actor's voice, which our brains find hard to ignore.

Yeah, the main character seems to be the worst one and maybe the old man…oh and the annoying girl too.!!!

Out of interest - are you watching the dubbed version?

We're watching the original Korean with subtitles, and I don't think you can judge the acting - it all feels pretty natural to me

We have been watching the dubbed version purely because my wife can’t see the subtitles without her glasses and refuses to go downstairs to get them…so I was reading It out to her…that gets old really quickly.!
I agree you don’t get the real “emotion” of It all without the original language on It. You aren’t really judging the acting you are just judging the people responsible for the dubbed version.
Interesting story, I once met the guy who was the Arnold Schwarzeneggers Italian dub person…they use the same people all the time for different actors….

Just finished Ted Lasso, season 2. Not quite the joyous feast that was season 1, but perhaps that's by design.

For a show that's so intent on appearing fluffy, it can't half tug your heartstrings.

    8.5/10

Agreed, not as good as the first season, but still sensationally good....its just the first one was that good it was almost impossible to follow up.... the old saying "you get a lifetime to write your first album and 18 months to do the second"

Nick Mohammed is amazing in season 2.
