Firstly, it’s Nixon in the Sun, does anyone believe anything written by that pillock and published in that “news”paper?
but just for arguments sake say it’s true, what is the harm in going after the 6 points.? It’s 300 k, It is hardly going to make any difference to out bank balance is It..!?

If we was Newcastle, there would be similar celebrations albeit on a smaller scale, let's not try and deny it.
When the Michael Dell, the fake Shiekh we're linked with buying us things, some were getting a little carried away.
Not in this house there wasn’t sir.

England are just really really good aren’t they.!?

Morality has not existed in football since...?
Can't welcome worker exploiters, leveraged buyouts, gambling companies, property developers, investment bankers, oil men and newspaper owners but get all outraged by Sovereign Wealth funds taking over.
Either they're all wrong or they're all acceptable.
Personally, I find them all equally horrible and long for the day that it either all blows up or fans "seize the means of production" and run all the clubs themselves.
I kind of pity the Newcastle fans - so desperate for success and so fed up of Mike Ashley (who I cannot believe people want here - I'd rather we were liquidated) that they're welcoming the Saudi's with open arms (pun intended). But then again, fair play to them for still being so invested in the shitshow that is top flight football that they care if they win trophies or not.
Ducking Neoliberalism.
I love this post, In fact, i love you. There I said It.
the “Geordie nation” are aLmost as insufferable as the scousers. why they think they have a devine right to win anything is beyond me, last time they were any good God was still a boy.

Will he have other people with him then I’m guessing as there’s no way he’s taking it on his own with how much he’s worth? Is there other investors owners of the group
Im guessing he must have. My reservations would be that he is normally in things for a quick profit, not sure that is what we need..!?

When you search Carlisle groups up it gets confused with Carlyle group who are a different group an i right.
does he have other businesses as revenue of million a year is not a lot to run a football club. Does anyone know if other people own the group aswell who are more wealthy as I have seen he’s worth less than Mel is
The dude that owns the Carlisle group is a local businessman over here, not especially wealthy at all, he is kind of a local legend and not always in a good way....everyone in town has had dealings with him about something or other...

I wish it was Caryle, ours is carlisle, a bit more tin pot.
Sorry, typo. The tin pot version is the one that is based in Portsmouth isn’t It!?

I might go and knock on the door of Carlyle Capita today see what they have to say for themselves.
The Main man there is pretty “famous” around here (it’s a small town-a dude with millions is super famous) and not particularly popular but has done loads of development around.
the general opinion is that he does nothing that isn’t going to make him a lot of money…..I think if he buys the Supers that might not be the case!! Ha ha -

It’s not hard to understand why some people feel that KM has a vendetta against us. For some reason he feels the need to have a dig at us in tweets that have nothing to do with us ??♂️
He is not having a dig at us, he is having a dig at Mad Mel.....and rightly so, he needs digging out.

Squid Game (netflix)- Finished and worth watching. Plays out like a big 'Black Mirror' episode.
We watched It the other day abs I have to say I found It thoroughly depressing… only watched the 1st two episodes and couldn’t take any more.
now I am watching season 4 of Paul and Bob fishing, I know I have said It before but ironically It is the most heart warming show ever.

I'm curious but healthily sceptical about spirits & the like, but there have been a couple of incidents recently that have been a little bit spooky....
1. I have a metal folding phone holder thing on my desk in the office, and a few times last week I've been working and heard a thud at the side of me, as my phone has ended up out of the holder and lay on the desk. I tried to replicate it by deliberately not putting the phone in it properly etc but I couldn't make it happen. It hasn't happened at all before then - or this week, but.....
2. I also have a small battery powered clock and weather station. Yesterday afternoon it started beeping and the clock re-set itself to midnight. OK, I thought, there has been some glitch with it, or the batteries are going. Then I noticed that the date had changed - but not to 1st Jan, as you might expect, but instead to my birthday - which is in mid March. The batteries are fine.
Mrs Wolfie is convinced that someone is urgently trying to make contact with me in the last couple of weeks.....
Anyone else got any spookys to share?
The clock resetting to your birthday is creepy as all heck...

If you want to go down the route that they didn't do the same thing legally then Keogh has an even bigger right to feel he's been hard done by the club. He was merely a passenger not the driver. Lawrence and Bennett may have shown contrition and received small punishments (no jail time for example) but they certainly had committed the worst behaviour out of the 3. The idea the club didn't terminate their contracts because they received a driving ban and did some community service is laughable.
Keogh was a very good second division defender who came within 90 minutes of helping us get promoted twice and he's one of the best ball carrying cb's I've seen play for Derby in the last 20 years. I'm honestly unsure why because his happened suddenly he's a bog standard defender when he wasn't.
Yes he made a mistake, I think one of the interesting things to come out of that article was that the incident happened a very short time after someone close to him passed away. Speaking from experience, he could have just been walking through a 'fog' and not really been noticing much.Someone close to him…? But not someone that close that he doesn’t even go to see them as they are on their death bed, just smacks as yet another tasteless, classless lie.?

I just read It again….. and It just makes me angrier.
the ********* has no brain he really can’t have. If he thinks the at anyone believes any bit of his story then he is living in a dreamland. He is the local odd ball….What does a 30+ year old professional footballer with all the time and money in the world…..NOT learn to drive himself….? and surely the bug eyed freak has a mobile phone, which is full to the brim of taxi numbers and Uber/Lyft type apps too….?
as I am typing this I got a text from my son, that just said “have you seen the Keogh interview….bank player, even worse person” perfectly put wise words indeed

I’m not sure I have liked so many posts on one single thread.
the bloke is crazy….does he genuinely believe that people actually think what he is saying is true….!? I guess if It helps him sleep at night.
*********, so glad he has gone…wish I was there to boo him every crap touch he makes when he comes back for Blackpool.
best quote was the bit about coming back to Derby…… get a grip son.
Derby finally accept 21 point deduction.
