Or maybe people renewed before Covid-19 took its grip.
Some might even have wanted to support the club financially, even when they suspected they wouldn't be able to attend?

Well, we've tried everything else so maybe we're onto a winner playing the season backwards.

I think all pundits should be open to scrutiny but unfortunately we aren’t yet in a position that pundits such as Karen Carney, Alex Scott or Eni Aluko are open to scrutiny for their opinions rather than their gender, but I’m sure they would love it if we were.
Ultimately I just think tweets like that are a crap idea. All meant as a bit of fun I am sure but I don’t think anyone deserves abuse of any kind just for holding a crap opinion, be that male or female.
I think there’s a huge difference to all the ?? accounts making their own way there to give some abuse off their own back and essentially being directed there by what should be an extension of official club messaging. I’ve also no doubt that if any club adopted a similar social media policy that they would have their own fair share of scumbags who would do the same, this isn’t a Leeds thing.
I wholeheartedly agree with your last paragraph or two. The club should now condemn the worst of the abuse and make it clear that if they can identify anyone from it they will be banned from the ground etc etc. Of course it doesn’t help that their owner has already condoned the tweet from the club.
Ultimately all it has done is ensure no one is talking about a great result for them over WBA.

It’s a difficult one, as you say they’ve done it before with male pundits so it’s clearly not a case of sexism.
But, are we in danger of protecting women too much in that they are above criticism? Should they not be treated as equal and take what comes with the job, which in football is criticism from all angles on your opinions.
It was a silly comment to make, I get where she was going with the burnout, but to say they only went up because of Covid is as daft as it gets, and that’s coming from someone that despises the club.
I haven’t scrolled down the replies enough to see if sexist replies have been made, would put money on it they have and you can argue the club should have known better, but we go back to, they have previous for this and should we protect female pundits from criticism, would she and other female pundits want this, or do they want their gender to be a none issue and hold discussions on football on a level playing field as men?
What would be nice now would be to see the club dig into the replies, find the most revolting sexist replies, share them and make it clear the club do not condone these kind of comments, and ask fans that share these views stay away from Elland Road.
Show that you can criticise the opinion without gender being an issue.

At Christmas, we have to think of those less fortunate than ourselves. We owe it to our better natures to wish them a merry Christmas.
Happy Christmas forest fans, hopefully Santa brought you that rash cream you asked for.

I think there's a good chance you leapfrog us on Saturday out of the relegation zone, but I've see enough to think we both might be alright in 10-15 games time.
We've been on an absolutely dreadful spell, but think CH still has enough about him to keep us up, particularly with that ridiculously bloated squad. If nothing else he has options.
I watched abit of your game last night and thought you played really well.

What an absolute donk!  You'll bloody kill yersen!   ?

I'll do the easy bit... for every 10k you run, I'll put a fiver to one side.  At the end of the season... IF you are still alive... I'll split it 50/50 to each of your chosen charities.
Oh... and I think you need to sort out your gofundme link in the OP... The one you have put in is just going to a log in page.

Admins/mods, apologies if this is inappropriate or in the wrong place!
As part of a personal mission to make a difference both to myself and others next year, and hopefully to also provide a boost to our local healthcare services, I am committing myself to running 10k each time Derby County fail to win a game (i.e. draw or lose) during 2021. If current form is anything to go by, I'll be stick thin by March!
I have started a GoFundMe page to hopefully do a bit of good while also having a bit of fun following our beloved Rams next year. I struggled to settle on a particular charity to support but have gone with the Derby and Burton Hospital Charity in light of the fantastic work they have done in tough circumstances in 2020. If you would wish to donate and provide me some much-needed motivation I'd appreciate literally anything!

    My other thought was for the Derby City Mission who I know we had done some fundraising for on this forum earlier in the year, please also consider helping their cause if you would prefer;

5 points behind us in the race to League One. Can’t even outdo us when we’re both heading to Swindon next season.

Very impressed with CKR, love his commitment, he could easily choose to just coast along, do the bare minimum and distance himself from the disaster that is our season so far, but instead he made his presence felt both on and off the pitch (Radio Derby described him as looking like "the Angel of the North" after he was brought off and offered loud encouragement from the stand).  If he goes on like this he'll be a Rams legend by the end of this season, especially if we stay up.
You can see why his goal tally isn't huge - he's a Heskey style target man, but what a relief to have him on board!  Someone yesterday dubbed him "the sideboard", I'll second that!  The wardrobe is gone, long live the sideboard!

Applications are now open, membership is free, you just have to love having a striker that doesn’t end up on his arse every 5 minutes and can piggyback defenders with ease.

Interesting to see how many that leave considered bang average by some of our fans have gone on or go on to play in promotion to prem sides , there in lies the argument as our target and fan expectation is promotion ,that said it’s about blend and many other factors in producing a team who go up
Martin is a good example ,we all ( most) know he’s a decent player but there’s been a lot of water flowed under the bridge at Derby over the last few years with him, he’s moved and it’s clear the move has been very good for him at this point , I’m very happy for him as he’s been a good player for us ,he could easily have stayed and things turn sour if he wasn’t first choice or hit poor form
its football and happens all the time to bigger and better names than Martin
