Can't believe people are complaining at a win, just accept the fact this is league 1 it isn't pretty
Plenty of teams in L1 play some decent stuff, more do than don’t now. The idea that L1 footie is not pretty is no longer true, it’s not the 2000´s anymore. Why should we not aspire to at least play some football?

Great penalty. 2-0. Despite the score still not satisfied. The footie has been dire. No pattern. Nothing. Do I want to watch this every week. NO. Do I want Warne? NO. Nothing points towards us improving or playing any decent football. Warne OUT. Was the wrong appointment, still is the wrong one. This isn’t football. This isn’t entertaining.

Sibbo off. Ineffective again, but hey ho, he is playing on the left so it’s not surprising. He must wonder what the hell he is doing.

I can’t take much more of this crap. We may be winning, but jeez, once again it’s bad. I had hoped after Tuesday that something would change. Please Clowes pull the trigger. Us fans deserve a modicum of decent entertainment. That is not going to happen under Warne.

FWIW, for anyone have trouble steaming on RamsTV, try France on VPN. Touch wood, been working well.

I like the look of Nyambe so far. And Nelson is having a great game.
I agree with Nyambe. Was really happy with the signing, I rate him. But I already knew what we were getting having seen him play a few times for blackburn. Solid physical right back. Not blessed technically, but a physical monster, not much will get past him. Reminds me a bit of wisdom under Mac1, rock solid defensively, but slightly lacking going forwards. Very surprised a Championship side didn’t snap him up.

Don’t then. We then won’t have to read your constant whining.
So I take it you are satisfied with the performance? I totally understand the discontent. Hell I would be slightly annoyed if I paid and travelled to watch this « football ».

The discussions on here suggest that Warne wants them to play like this.
Which begs the question has he sent the team out to play the ball on the deck for 30 mins then hoof it.
Or is there more to it and some of this is down to the players?
Based on how the manager likes to « play » and taking into consideration what he produced at his previous club, I would say him.

Well, we are back to the damn awful football again… 15-20 minutes of ok stuff, then back to the same old. Disjointed, lacking technically, no real control. On a positive note still winning, but it isn’t pretty. Football is a simple game, as long as you pass and move….

If I had a quid every time NML lost the ball….

Should have been a penno there for Mendez!
Nah no way. Thought that was a clean tackle. NML should have lifted his head up and pulled it back. But as per usual, he keeps the ball for too long.

Good goal. Well done Collins, deserved his start. But why the hell is sibbo on the left?! Everytime he play’s there he is doesn’t really effect the game. He must be so fustrated at always being played out of position. People complain about sibbo not being consitent, it helps when you play him centrally.

Man beats Lincoln reserves 2-0 and is all of a sudden Pep Guardiola.
Can’t wait for 5 at the back this weekend and a 1-0 defeat
Bit unfair. I am in one of the « I don’t think he is the right man » and « I hate his style of football » camp. Yet last night was pretty enjoyable, albeit against lincoln reserves. Do I think he wiil revert to the crap that has been served up recently? Yes. Do I want someone else who plays progressive football who can entertain? Yes. However, credit when credit is due, and last night was enjoyable. Was is the best football ever? No. But it was miles better than Saturday.

Seen a couple of comments like this, which I understand given how unhappy some people are with Warne, but doesn’t he deserve some credit tonight? He picked the team, I assume they’re playing how he’s asked them to, he’s made the substitutions, yes some of what’s gone before this season hasn’t been great but if people are going to give him stick when it’s bad give him credit for the good too 🤷🏻♂️
Backs up some of what Warne has said himself about needing the likes of Sibley and Barkhuizen back to provide more attacking threat. Wilson back from injury and seemingly playing 90 mins, Bradley and Elder better tonight, Fornah and Embleton playing their part as they settle in further.
As you say let’s hope for more of the same on the weekend.I agree, and I will give him credit for tonight, deservedly so. However it’s gonna take a lot more of this, and on a more regular basis to win my long term support back. Tonight proves that it is possible, so no excuses if he reverts back to the system that is not working. I like many others are not asking for champagne football, just something to get us exited, a bit like tonight, win or lose. Tonight the balance was right, personel and tactics wise.
I enjoyed the game, and a few players deserve to start on Saturday. More of this on Saturday Warne please, and plenty more Saturday’s to come. If that happens, maybe, just maybe I might get back on board.

If Warne reverts to the crap witnessed in the previous games he wants shooting. I know it is only Lincoln, but the difference is staggering when you play it quickly on the grass while using the midfield. Fantastic goal, deserved by Sibbo who is playing in a more central central position. Warne couldn’t have got any more hints tonight if he wanted.

Finally a bit of football. Not to much to ask for really.

Let me think… still thinking…. Erm… « grasping desperately at straws » got a coffee machine at moor farm 👍

I hate his football. It makes me livid. Get rid.
PS: tried being patient, now fully convinced he is NOT the right man for the job. I can’t relate to the shiiiite that he calls football. These are not bad players, they are being coached in a damn awful way. His football has no place in the modern game.

You know the football is amazing when the commentators are talking about birthdays…
-
Well, what a crap half. But that was to be expected. Only one team is trying to play football, and once again it is not us. We are not going anywhere with Warne in charge. It is the worst football I have ever seen. Zero entertainment. The football is a reminder of the « kick and rush » era, a style that is past it. I have tried to be patient, but week after week we are being served the same old crap. I fear Clowes has dropped a clanger giving Warne a 4 year deal. I would not be annoyed if we tried to play football, helas, we never do.
