These are just dirty physical scumbags. Needs to change something at half time. I would take collins off and put white on, having that extra body in midfield could help us gain a grip on the game.

This is one game this season that I want us to win the most. Let's smash this repulsive club with a resounding win. Up the rams and down the basket makers!

TBH I'm not seeing 'hate' for Collins at all, just a few folk expressing some disappointment at what seem to be turning out to be his shortcomings (that's OK on a forum surely ?). He's a way better option than the other tactic of playing someone out of position but he isn't blessed with pace, touch is so-so and he doesn't seem to hold it up particularly well and doesn't seem to fare that well in physical battles with big central defenders, plus his goals return is a bit underwhelming. He gives it his all but just seems a tad limited.
McGoldrick looks a picture of composure and quality in comparison IMHO and links play superbly and the ball sticks and he rarely gives it away cheaply. Obviously Collins will get everyone's full backing once he steps out on the pitch in a Derby shirt and I (like everyone) really hope he comes good and gets back in the goals again. It's just that it feels like he needs to offer us a bit more than he is doing. Maybe he can, maybe he can't *shrug*. Hopefully the former. Finally some sense instead of seeing all forms of criticism as hate. The fact is that his form has not been great, hasn't scored from open play since Burton, and seems to be struggling a wee bit at the moment. Seems to le a totally valid argument that some posters are trying to get across. All players have ups and down I get that, but saying that for stating that Collins is having a hard time and that some extra reinforcements up top would be welcome could be considered as hate is insane. The world has gone mad...
Just to be clear, even with Collins not on song, I still think he provides value if selected, his pressing and aggressiveness sets a nice tempo for others to follow, even if goals are hard to come by for him at the moment. Besides most of the team are chipping in, making up for his poor form in front of goal so far. Still think another option up front would have been nice to have though.
Anyway, with Didzy injured at the moment, hopefully Collins can rediscover his scoring touch, starting with Saturday.

If Dobbin wants to make it, he needs to be burying chances like that. That tame shot was so poor.

Bring collins on, take Hourihane off and go 442. I hate port vale with a passion. Possibly the worst club in the EFL
I can name a fair few who can beat them to that title to be fair. Brizzle, Middlesborough, Wycombe, Preston just to name a few.

Roberts header was god damn awful. It led to that goal.

Stupid twit. No contact between him and Warney as he went off. Bet you he's gone in January.

Wildsmith as alert as ever. Never feel uncomfortable with him in goal.

Tragicman more likely. QIll be weeping into his cocoa. By far and away our best player thus far tonight.
Wouldn't say that he is by far our best player today, but he's been better and chuffed for him. Fozzy my best player so far (again). Loving him at CB.

Average so far all across the board. Hourihane again flatters to deceive, was really exited by his signature, yet he has been my biggest disappointment. Struggle to see what he offers, often a passenger.
Still expect us to win the game.

You didn't see Mikkel Beck then?
Nope. Probably before my time. He must have been bad if he was worse than Sammon. What year?

Lucky there. If things keep going like it is, they will equalise, and frankly they would deserve it.

Dobbin is the worst finisher I've seen since Conor Sammon. I know he banged in that volley, but give him more than a nanosecond to think and he always makes a poor choice. Yes he's young, but can we afford to carry a striker who belongs to another club who doesn't score and doesn't often contribute? He would be far down the pecking order for me. Missing key chances at key times as he does so often is really damaging and we have much better players and finishers who could be in his position.
I hope he scores now, but I don't think it's very likely.
Considering he has been subbed, I think it's close to zero.
I agree though that he needs some time on the bench. Currently contributing nothing. Confidence seems down. There is a player in there, but as you said, we can't afford to carry another teams player. As for the Connor Sammon remark, nope, no one is as bad as him. Still can't believe he cost 1 million. At least Dobbin cost next to nothing as a loan.- Carl Sagan and Caerphilly Ram

Sibbo must have half a brain cell, he keeps trying to skin the bloke on the wing for pace. JUST STOP! It's obvious that it isn't going to happen. Driving me nuts!

Just like countless times this season, Wildsmith has once again saved our bacon. Nothing to do for ages, but always there when needed.
