The midfield of Bird and Hourrihane is not working here. Getting outmuscled and outfought. Very weak. 

Bit of a strange one today. I honestly couldn’t give a damn if we played well or not today. My only concern was to win the game for B4, and I am so glad that we did. This was for B4. Never met him, but I didn’t need to. His posts told me all I need to know. A true Ram. One of the good guys.  The world is worse of without him. Quite emotional really (and I never met him! Just goes to show how many people the man touched indirectly), I am so used to seing B4 on the forum, that this place is never really going to feel the same without him. It all feels empty. Rest well Daniel, enjoy the win. If more people were like you, the world would be a much better place.

Pleased for NML, only one who has really looked up for it today.

Would have preferred to see Brown come on instead of Collins, but since we are 4-0 up, I will let it slide.

This half is gonna be interesting. No way will they stand off as much, so let’s see if we can continue to try and play with more pressure and less time on the ball.

Just a quick word of praise for Sonny Bradley. Been brilliant in that first half. Some of his forward passing to break the lines have been sublime.

That is more f****** like it. Play it on the floor, passes through the lines, neat interchanges and some lovely goals too! Some technical errors with the passing but that doesn’t bother my because they ARE and CAN play football. I know it Northampton and they are showing way to much respect, but I can take winning or losing as long as we try to play football like this. More please.

The whole setup, personnel and system just feels way more balanced tonight. Long may it continue.

I firmly believe that the squad is good enough to compete at the higher echelons of this division. What currently hinders us, is the style of play implemented by the manager. I am convinced that a manager who keeps the game on the deck with the basic concept of pass and move would see us perform instantly better.

Please, just please walk away. It is so obviously not working. PW is not the right man for this club. He speaks well enough, but his style of football is not something I can relate to. I get that we may not be blessed with the best players, but surely we should be seeing better footie than this. No fun, no excitement. Nothing. I don’t mind losing if we are at least trying to play some progressive stuff. But losing while playing neanderthal nonsense really gets me going. It’s just depressing.
