I agree. ? ?
But if you want the thread title changing you'd be better off copying in one of them, rather than an ex-mod and one on a sabbatical!
I went on one of those once, not a bad machine but prefered the V twin to the square 4 sabbatical, easier gear change and smoother clutch.

I hope it not like Cambridge, we lost 3-0 in the opening game of the 1980-81 season.
Arggggggghhhhh I have spent 40 years trying to forget that day. I was there and forever scarred.

I’m biased, Cov first. Anyone can argue the toss as to whether Rooney was ‘The Man’. I don’t like the guy but he has even grown on me. Not my hero. Then again, I don’t do that.
County need to appoint an experienced journeyman in the short term in my opinion. Someone to set the foundations in place. Coventry City chose cheap and nasty managers for several years after admin. Some real rubbish. Their budget has been tightly controlled ever since, as it is currently in the bottom 5 Championship funds for players. Mark Robbins is not currently available!
it will be an interesting few years at Derby. High fan base, in a physical league and some big name clubs. As has been said many a time, it would be great to talk football.
Notts, Stockport, Newport are all county. We are Derby, Derby County or Rams, never just county.

That scares me … not you being born, but as this has progressed we have passed through my life from winter of 63 when I had frozen toes building a snow man and ice on the inside of the windows, moving neatly on to England winning the World Cup, Derby County winning the league, losing my cherry late in the day to an unmarried Mrs Robinson, Buying a house , Circumstances forcing me to work for myself and throwing off some shackles, meeting my future wife, getting a dog, getting married. Watching DCFC for the first time as a middle aged bloke 20 years ago. Losing my parents permanently, seeing friends grow old and ill and others soften and become wise, adopting my neice. .. jeees I am officially a senior ? .. No pension yet which is a bit of a pain ! Oops and you are just starting that journey ?. Good luck, live it, embrace it
And you will be like the rest of us old men, with a 20 year old lad in your brain wondering where the hell his life went. ?

To my way of thinking, if Ed Dawes is confident enough in the information he was told, he should name the person providing the information.

can't spell
Born in Derby, dad was a Rams fan,(saw Steve Bloomer play), brother also Rams fan. Both have now gone so just me left supporting them. All mother's side are mutants from up the A52 and live around Long Eaton. Saw my first game in 1959, went with our kid, lost 1-7 to Middlesbrough, Clough didn't score and Jack Parry got our goal, hell of a start. Left Derby in 1984 lived in Manchester and Missouri but still supported them from a distance. Although I had a season ticket for first season in PP and only missed one game while living in Manc land. Now living in Scotland but have a season ticket. Might get to 9 or 10 games this season but thought the club needs the money so why not.
