Finished The Responder last night.
Best thing we've watched since Time and maybe even better than that.
British/BBC drama at its best.
Fabulous acting, perfect pace, gritty and at times. highly amusing dialogue, really interesting characters and a seemingly realistic look at what it can be like being a cop working a run down drug-riddled area of a biggish city.

Fantastic news! Those two great guys have sorted it. 

I just want to beat them. And they finish 7th because WE beat them and stopped them getting in the play offs. Will be interesting to hear the excuses

I reckon I'd have 22 sacks if I was on the field for 59 mins a game, unfair advantage when your D is never on the sideline.
Parsons/Donald would have been a better rounded shout. ?

The first episode of series two of RG is a cracker.
I quite liked Responder. Fair play to Martin Freeman. He is showing himself capable of more than passive aggressive parts.

Bernard manning is/was the best stand up comedian ever. 

Do you like the first two series?
I've one to go but tome it's pretty much the same as the first two seasons.
The first episode I thought was poor and it has felt like the character has gone back to square one again and that Gervais wrote it because he could, but I've enjoyed it tbh.
 

When I moved to the US in 2006 people over here had normal teeth, even on TV.
Now it seems we have gone down the US route of everybody having bright white veneers.
Sarah Parish, in the dreadful Stay Close, looked utterly ridiculous her teeth were so white. Nobody born in England in their fifties has teeth that bright.
Then the other day I was watching The Apprentice (don't judge me) and it seemed 80% of them had teeth whiter than any naturally occurring substance found on planet earth. For half the program it's all I could focus on, they look preposterous.
When did this start happening?
And more importantly, does anybody know where I can get mine done on the cheap?

They want white teeth, not a cure for covid mate.

I had all mine done two years ago , full crown veneers and root canal to some teeth before fitting , after years of constant tooth ache and terrible looking teeth I decided enough was enough , we personally knew a dentist in turkey who did fantastic work , one week in the sun to get all the work done , something that would have been about 50 k in the U.K. cost me under 4 k , you choose your shade , didn’t go radioactive white but a few shades down , I really like the look and it’s an absolute joy not to be constantly getting grumbling tooth ache 

Many years ago, I had a yellow Tommy Hilfiger(hugging) shirt. Someone said "nice shirt, Hans, matches your teeth". Never worn again!

The people with the ultra white (teeth not Daz washing powder) have not had them whitened, they're veneers. 
I mean, I'm sure many have had them whitened but they don't go crazy white by that method, it just removes any staining. Otherwise it would take the enamel off and that wouldn't be good.
I'm with @Ewe Ram, I think they have snap on teeth.
A word of warning if you have eaten in the last 3-weeks. Don't think it would be funny to post a picture of terrible teeth with a caption of this years winner of The Apprentice and then go trawling the internet for such a snap shot.

The stage is set. 

I was going to ask the wife to check the BP last night, but she didn't think she had a cuff that could have taken the pressure.
We tried everything to give that away a missed field goal, a snap over Staffords head. Ramsey stumbling and letting Evans in behind him and just a mere 4 turnovers, but we hung on in true Rams agains the world style!
So now we have to beat our hated local rivals who wear red in a Derby game and who we just cannot bye a win against at the moment.
