Well tbf, not many of us in this thread are going to get many more, but a belated happy birthday to @Ram-Alf anyway. Let's hope we both have a handful.

Oh ffs, I didn't even know that was a thing. Thanks I shall do that!

If you don't want to bother with the faff of that, get a day pass through NowTV.

I should have read your post first.

Mrs Badger said it looked really dated. And I said, it's because it was set in the 70s ffs.

    You make a great point
Having said that, we've only watched The Sopranoes and Spiral in the last couple of years, and both are in my top 10 of all time.
So, not sure if I agree with your point tbh.

It wasn't what I meant, but if you're asking, big boy, I'm sure something can be arranged.

This may seem like a silly question, but I presume you got rid of them?

    I'll give you a fiver.

    And my house.

    Who is DCFC Lee?
I personally don't think Clowes should win it. Just not appropriate,  this award is about ordinary fans.
Clowes deserves all the accolades for what he did (last season, actually) bit in a different arena to this one.

Nah, it's just down to taste, isn't it? We can't all like the same stuff, even if there's lots of shows on which there's a deal of common ground. Personally, I liked this show a lot and Scott's performance in particular, but it is unusually languid and it won't be for everyone. Even speaking as someone who enjoyed it, I don't think it's something I'd revisit.

It's definitely a 'slow burner'. After the likes of 'Kin' and 'Baby Reindeer', slow is a pleasant change. As an arthritic sepuagenarian, I would not have fancied those steps.

Be Funny or Die by Joel Morris.
A fabulous book breaking down comedy, how it works, why it's important and why people should stop losing their poo.
I'm 80% of the way through and I've laughed a lot and learned a lot. He also does a brilliant job of not ripping any comics or any genres.
A two thumbs up and a must read for any fan of comedy.

    Baby Reindeer.
It's super complex but incredibly well written and acted.
Drugs, male rape, comedy, stalking and transsexual dating are a rare mix.
Four episodes down and not sure how many there are, but it's the best brand new series we've watched this year.

That's like somebody in the 1980 saying, I was supposed to be making out with the Nolans this weekend, but then I saw how many there were and thought...nah.
For clarification, you cannot have too many episodes of Breaking Bad.
In my top 5 of all time.

I really fail to see why any true Rams fan would go to the game next week knowing the sheer torture of losing and Bolton winning and being present for the bleakest day in our history (apart from all the other bleak days that were bleaker).
Let me carry your burden by taking your ticket off you.

Definitely better than Kin for me.
Found Kin slightly monotous...(especially the lead woman's voice!). Seemed more and more unrealistic as it went on but with no humour or distraction.
Love/Hate has more varied characters and feels like it has different tones and the vibe moves around more.

It's a pretty major issue for a series when you kill off by far the best character at the end of the first series….
