AbuDerbyDave reacted to Rambalin in v Huddersfield (H) Match Thread
OK performance from everyone considering as Curtis has just said they had no time to work on defending or attacking set plays or team shape.
Morrison will help and if we can get in more then we will have a decent side. In fact Huddersfield commentary team said Derby are far better than many are trying to make them out to be.

When you go to work on Monday & your boss says to you sorry strawHillRam but you can’t have that tool that you need to do your job properly we’ve got a couple of alternatives have a look at them but don’t buy it yet because we don’t know if we can afford them yet. But boss iv’e got to get the job done by Saturday? well use what you’ve got we’re see what we can do. I’m not saying that Wayne is the answer but other than when Nigel came in I think he’s got the hardest job in the championship at the moment he has no help what’s so ever working with a chairman that wants nothing to do with the club he can’t even tell the players how much they will get a week. Every manager since Nigel has had a budget to work with that’s all gone with any luck he can use his connections to get some young prospects through the door & bring on our own young players who knows he might even make a success of it

I was at the game mate just speaking as I find. I could lie and say he played really well if it pleases you.

AbuDerbyDave reacted to Day in The latest from the club via Chris Coles
This is the first post I have seen since opening the thread, and the perfect one to say I'm sorry if you have messaged/mentioned me and I have ignored you, this morning has been chaos in all honesty, I'm not being lazy, haven't stopped since 8am.
I am now just finalising things by getting a couple of points fact checked to ensure that what I put out is completely accurate and not spend the day/evening correcting myself.
Feel like I'm apologising a lot lately, it's just I want to you to know I'm not trying my best here, not looking to tease this out, get more views, likes, attention, nothing of the sort.
I'm being sent screenshots of abuse, tweets and posts asking to verify all morning across different platforms, I'm asking you to please stop, in fact please don't even react to this thread as it will only add further to my notifications I have to work through. Never had to deal with anything on this scale before and in all honesty, I'm struggling as I don't want to ignore any of you.
Thanks again to the many for understanding on the forum, love you all and the positive support from last night makes me proud of what we have all created, I just need a bit more time. ??

Born in Yeovil to parents who were born and raised in Yeovil as were their parents before them......
Father moved us up to Chellaston in 1965 (age 2) through work whereupon my Yeovil born and bred mother was so overcome with the emotion of the place she packed her bags and left for Aus with some random pick up and we haven't heard from her since.
Father meanwhile met a girl at Rolls Royce whose father was part of the boot room staff at DCFC at the baseball ground. They were married in 1970 and moved us all to Belper. The folks are still there.
Got a few tours of the dressing room in the early 70s. Stepmothers dad sadly died young in 1973 but our links to dcfc grew out of that relationship.
I haven't lived there since the mid 1980s and we've been in South Hampshire since 91. But still get to games where I can and drag junior along as well.

Born in east London dad a Leyton Orient fan but used to work away all the time hence how he met mum from Derby. Used to go to Derby all the time when dad was away at work & three uncles got me to support Derby before the old man could convert me to the O's. 1967 my first game apparently against Everton.
