Well he's hardly going to go on there and berate him while he's still employed by the club is he??
I'd like to know what he really thinks deep down though.

Lee Bowyer has proven what’s possible with a clued up and organised manager taking over a struggling team.

How long since a league win ? what style are we trying to play ? It’s a shambles on the field with a decent starting 11 , we are open as hell down our right , disjointed going forward and disorganised in defence ,, it’s a joke , ex player with zero management skills and ex pundit with no skill either ,, please god give it to wassell over these clowns

    Completely disagree.
This team would suit Mac very well. We have enough technical ability in the team and i could easily see Mac getting Bird & Morrison to control a game. With Bielik to come back in as well i think Mac would love to have the majority of these players.
I would rather see Wassell in charge than Rooney but Mac would do a better job than both of them. Understand your point about Wassell and the young players, but Mac has a fantastic record of developing young players. Just look how he helped Bamford, Hughes, Hendrick, Ibe, etc.
Unlike Wassell, Mac is literally just sitting at the club doing nothing. We can't sign players so he hasn't really got any work to do. I mean what have we got to lose giving Mac the job, we can't get any worse than we are now!

WeThis is the positive thread of a bleak day.
Fair few posts here spot on for me. He’s thrown in at the deep end but a hopefully confidence boosting goal shows he’s also got potential.
What he won’t need is any moans and groans when he misses an odd sitter, the type raw strikers do. Let’s get behind the lad and see what he’s got to offer, with hopefully the right service.
Agree, Sibley or Watson should suit best and maybe he’ll link with Morrison too. He could be our find of the season purely by chance.

He'll be fine if we play Sibley and Watson with him because they know how to thread the ball through to him.

At least the U18s won 3-0 at Middlesbrough.
    Goals from Borkovic (31), Kelly (50) and Nicholas-Davies (56).

Yes, it was Harrison Foulkes who played in the friendly against Matlock, and looked more commanding of his area than the U23 goalkeepers we had last season.
He was fielding the shooting practice against Huddersfield as well.

I don’t blame Rooney for the way Sibley is playing particularly but I do blame him for only giving Sibley ten minutes a game last season when we were crying out for literally any spark at all. It is not fair to expect someone to make a difference when they are given limited time to do so. He is inconsistent but he has shown that at his best he will win points for Derby.
I wholeheartedly agree on Hughes. The whole situation with his sale was criminal and the minute Rowett said to Mel that he wanted to sell Hughes he should’ve been sacked on the spot. That’s why it’s so frustrating to see history repeating itself (if this is even true).

Rooney has had multiple interviews now, where he has been asked the question about walking away. He consistently says no. We have been crying out for stability and loyalty from a manager since Nigel Clough. He arguably has the toughest job of any manager for as long as I can remember supporting Derby (22 years) and despite having a bare minimum squad and having all the problems above him, he continues to show that he cares and wants to do well.
We are starting to see a style of play which is exciting and attacking with the handful players he has.
I think it's about time everyone starts to show respect to him instead of wanting him out. Any other manger would have left us in this mess.

He's sticking with us, we need to stick with him !!

Funny you should say that. I was chatting to a mate about Ravel and Wayne. There is a “fit” in all of life
Consider his early years managers. Good men but old school curmudgeons / autocrats … makes you think that a maturing Morrison coached/managed by  an ex player who he grew watching, with might just be the alchemy we need. I saw enough on Tuesday to think we have a potential diamond. Morrison on the same wavelength as our kids ?

yeah I know .. I am in happy clappy mode ?

There are those that criticise the club on occasion and with very good reason.
There are those that criticise the club at every possible turn, seizing any opportunity to have another dig.
Thank whatever higher deity you like that there are people like @Ghost of Clough and @angieram around who are the voices of reason, who are able to judge each issue on its relative merits and comment rationally, calmly and logically.

I’ve had season tickets in all 4 stands since we moved to PP……..at various times - and for various reasons…..West Stand was my first place because as i had an older fan I went to the game with.
SW corner with my missus and a couple of our friends was the next stop when that used to be the “singing place” and we loved it.
Next stop, the North Stand because I started to bring my son (who I bought his first season ticket at the age of 3).
Then back to the SW corner because he said  “Daddy can we sit in the noisy corner” - which meant I had to teach him all the Derby songs with edits for the swearing”…for example “I’d fly over Nottingham Forest and sit on those barstools below”. I got away with it for a season or 2 before he twigged!! And the blokes who sat around us were brilliant with him (one bloke called Gerry was an absolute top class fella he moved behind the goal in the South Stand I think) he used to apologise for the lads for their swearing but I didn’t mind at all because it was my decision to sit there and I didn’t want to ruin their match day experience!!
Next stop East Stand - because of the reconfiguration of seating……but that bloody sun is just a pain when it shines and you’re squinting to watch the game. So we moved back to the South Stand and enjoyed the increased level of banter again.
But i also like to get really into the games and get a different perspective from time to time - so we moved back to the West Stand upper and I’ve loved it up there for the last few seasons (pre-lockdown).
I’m pretty sure I’ll move again at some point - not yet sure what the motivation will b .
BUT……the one constant in all of it - I love Derby County, I love the games and I consider myself no better or worse supporter than anyone else, just because of where I sit - and it’s does annoy me when a small minority give it loads because of where people sit and how they choose to show their support.
    Sorry for the ramble!! ??‍♂️
