I made a bet with myself how many puns would be posted in response.
So far I'm winning, I went for four, tops.

If you are following the case, today's testimony looks like absolute car crash stuff from Vardy. How she can possibly claim damages for libel given all the admissions she has made in court today is utterly beyond me.

The Rooney barrister has made her look like a complete fool.

Didn’t waste any money? He signed Curtis Davies, Tom Huddlestone, Tom Lawrence, Andre Wisdom and Joe Ledley. He spent over £10m in fees and grew our wage bill to over £40m. It was around £15m in 2014-15.
He blew money (mainly wages) on ageing players with no resale value in an attempt to get promoted in his debut season, then jumped ship to a better opportunity in Stoke a year later.
It was another disaster from Mel Morris and Rowett was another contributing factor to our current state.

He's here more than at home.
I think with everything that's riding on this it's not great that he's out in town the night before such crucial talks . I think it reflects poorly on his seriousness regarding this for anyone else at that meeting as well. Out in town getting some back slaps and thanks for finalising nothing as it stands. Too much showman and not enough substance. Finish the job then go on a 5 day bender if he likes.

Maybe you’re right but, MSD haven’t yet taken the stadium off Mel and, until/unless they do, CK needs to be talking to Mel about it’s purchase.
once again, we are speculating as to what has been offered and demanded. Do any of us know what CK has offered for the stadium? Is Mel asking for more than £20m so that he can pay off the loan and walk away with something? Is Mel asking for an amount but not offering to repay the loan?
The bottom line, as I understand it, is that CK and Mel need to be talking to each other regarding either transfer of ownership of the stadium or leasing it. So CK does need to deal with Mel (unless an alternative ground share really is the way forward) which is where this all started.

I'm glad to see you knowing nothing doesn't stop you posting a load of nonsense, in hope that you can be the one who called our demise.

Bird more predictable but for me will be better than Cashin, Knight or Sibley.

As long as the rent is no smaller than the repayments, then it's a win win.
