Doesn't really mean anything, just an extra few million when they bin him in a few weeks. Small change to what they've spent so far this season.

He's always been a great player, only limted by playing as a deep lying midfielder in the 4231 we've played the last 3 seasons. Hopefully now the shackles are off.

Didzy is retired. The others are available I think.

I thought one of the advantages about being in League 1 was not having an international break. This is disappointing ?.

I don't get the booing of him. We got some money when we sold him and it is not like he did a Buchanan?‍♂️

I went for 9. Think we needed an experienced right back and possibly another winger to rotate with Dobbin, NML and Barkhuisen. 

But it was always going to be difficult to find a right back of sufficient quality whether it be a loan or free, that would be better than Knight and not hinder Oduroh's development, on 8/9k a week. 

Loach will probably score before Collins does

I agree, could kinda get behind it, if it was a straight knock out competition but we have to play a minimum 3 games. Don't want to pick up any injuries now after a decent start to the season.

No Mendez Laing on the bench. Hopefully just rested and not injured.

A relegated team with parachute payments needs to strengthen their cash flow, and keep the player in the process. What chance do the rest of the EFL teams have competing against teams like this. Shambles

I'm not forgetting, I'm sure Clowes knew he had to pay this back before he took over the club in full as they're a football creditor. That's why I said hopefully because if we've an 8 million wage budget and we've saved on near 1 million from loaning out Bielik, maybe that will help enable us to sign the players Liam wants?

Logical move loaning him out even though it's Birmingham. He was going to miss 2-3 months with the World Cup anyway and the first few weeks of the season. Add to this his appalling injury record since he joined us. No point in paying a player 20k in wages a week in the league 1 in those circumstances.

Hopefully getting a substantial amount of savings on his wages allows us to get the 4-5 players of sufficient quality we need to bolster the squad.

They're taking a chance on his half a season form for West Ham when he was class. Hopefully they get the lazy TikTok inspired Lingard.

Not sure about this. I know the squad is a little behind in preseason but would have preferred a full week's training before the Oxford opener.
