Will Growett 🐍 his way to a championship club? Will Buchanan's agent be working 24 hours around the clock to get him out of Birmingham?

Keep Sibley, Wildsmith and Thompson. I'm 50/50 on Barkhuisen, Smith, Gayle and Collins whether I want them to stay. I wouldn't re-sign Hourihane, Waghorn or Fozzy(as good a servant as he has been), as I don't think they're good enough Championship squad players.

Best we can hope for now is a draw, which would still be great

Second half was garbage. Washington, CBT and NML all dreadful tonight.

Bluenoses away to Leicester today, who had a double-digit lead break on the field at one point, but seem to have imploded in recent weeks. Hopefully they rediscover their form and heap more pressure on on the Bluenoses.
Slight tangent, but I wonder how Bielik will feel should Derby and Birmingham pass each other with them heading down and us heading up. I know it's petty, but his unwillingness to stay and fight for Derby still irritates me.
Yeah we stuck by him through two ACL injuries, and only loaned him to Birmingham so he could secure his World Cup spot for Poland. Thought he would have made a big difference if he came back to us for the second half of last season, but chose to stay on loan with a side with nothing to play for. I lost all respect for him after that.

Such a stupid peno to give away, they were growing into the game as well. So frustrating

4-3 now to Bournemouth
-
Luton have capitulated. They'll lose now.

Questionable offside for the first. Two really harsh yellows for Yiadom and a handball by Gayle to win the penalty. I think the EFL is starting to like us.

The fixture doesn't need to be postponed if they're missing. They can't even make the match day squad.

Our game at Northampton on the 23rd will probably be postponed, but not the Bolton game.
I'm not so sure it will. With NML out of the Guatemalan friendlies, who else is there to go? Washington is injured and I'm not sure if our African players are due to go on international duty, but 3 of them must go for it to be postponed.

Always liked the Nottingham City Council. Marinakis takes up about 10 seats, they need to hike those rent prices.

So we're plonking Bradley in their penalty area and hoping the ref doesn't notice we've got 12 players on the pitch?
I wasn't happy with Wildsmith either the other night, but I don't think Thompson is the solution in goal.😂

We don't need 3 midfielders on the bench. CBT should have one of those spots unless he's injured.

I remember Steve Claridge was doing the highlights punditry on the telly. The main TV man was saying although Madley got the main decision badly wrong, perhaps he was influenced by Chris Martin's "repeated fouling" earlier in the game? Madley had blown up something ridiculous like 5 or 6 times against Martin in the first half. Claridge went through all of those decisions and kept saying "it's not a foul, it's not a foul". Referees like Atwell are clearly incompetent, but I've never seen one go into a game with such an agenda as Madley did for that match. Should have been banned.
We had many incompetent refs over the years but this one was biased and wanted to send off Martin early in the game. Collins wouldn't have had a hope with this ref. This ref shouldn't be allowed to ref us again.

If he's half as good as he was for Newcastle when they were in the championship 7 or 8 seasons ago, he'll be a great signing.

Yeah should have put it in the Derby v Stevenage match thread.

When Owen Bradley commented when Sibley came on, that he hadn't scored at home for two years you knew it was inevitable he would. Great finish.

When's Waghorn back? No update from the club on him. Hopefully Wash is back the end of the month.
Birmingham relegated.

Didnt realise he was only temporary. At least it's a stain on his CV. The manager who officially brought them down.
