Rooney in his presser was talking about starting Liam Thompson tomorrow. Would that not go beyond the 25 player registered limit?

Brentford signed Benrahma and Watkins for about 2million each in 2017 and 2018. When they amortised these players on a straight line basis, their values in 2020 when they both sold them to PL league clubs would have been about the 1million mark on their BS after they both had an excellent 19/20 season in the championship. 

They both moved to the PL in the summer of 2020 for 30million plus, surely with the EFL's outdated amortisation method they would have been worth much more than 1million on their BS the end of that season?

Is that something akin to resembling the amortisation method we used and interpreted FR102 on our accounts?

Can't believe what I have just read and the sanctions imposed against us. These parasites want to bury us, as our treatment compared to other clubs is completely disproportionate. The EFL have slowly destroyed my love for football over the past two years, and now we are almost certainly relegated to league 1 now. ?

Do you think the administrators are appealing this decision, not just because they want the points reduced, but because the Covid impact might have a knock on effect on possible further points deductions down the line for the 19/20, 20/21 accounts? 

If we somehow win this case, we could point towards missing out on 20 mil worth of revenue when we have to submit these accounts

Couldn't bring myself to follow the game today after yesterday's news, but great reaction from the crowd,  staff and players to get the win.

Longtime lurker on this great forum and decided I would say how absolutely devastated I am by this news. Can't believe its come to this.

Just hope now we survive over the next few months, get new owners and move on!
