ThePrisoner got a reaction from dcfc4ever in Captain Tom Lawrence
I see the rationale behind it, makes sense. I think it'll give Tom some more drive and maturity.

ThePrisoner reacted to JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta in Captain Tom Lawrence
Like it or not he is currently one of our best players. In matches where chances are at a premium and we aren't creating much he is one of the only players we have that can conjure something out of nothing.
Is he as consistent as we would like? No. But if he was consistently as good as he can be there is a 0% chance he'd be playing for Derby.
In terms of the Joiners Arms incident, he was grieving for his mother. That's doesn't excuse his behaviour, but I certainly understand it having been to a similar place myself.
I hope this is the making of him, he's been a good player for us despite what some folk on here say. Just because he isn't raking in 30 yarders every week doesn't mean he's rubbish.
Good luck, captain.

ThePrisoner got a reaction from gccrowdpleaser in McClaren, what !!!
Man spends less than 5 minutes talking about a club he used to work at on Sky Sports News while sat in Derby at his employers where he is probably having a few minutes break from working. How dare he.

Morrison? Aluko? Jagielka? Stearman? Baldock?
I have to say I am full of optimism for the season ahead.
The good times are back.

ThePrisoner reacted to Duracell in Sone Aluko (Gone to Ipswich) & Sam Baldock (Signed)
Sone Aluko is the kind of player that always causes us massive problems when we play against him, but will immediately become useless the moment he signs for us.

Love that Hull black on black shirt. Would be wonderful for our third.

ThePrisoner reacted to Duracell in Is 5 too young.
Definitely too young. My first game was when I was 4. You're too young to consent to a lifetime supporting Derby County at that age, a burden I will take with me to my deathbed.

ThePrisoner reacted to Van der MoodHoover in MoodHoovers Miekle Moments
There's nothing like lifting the spirits after a disappointing result with a puppy update.
Meikle has been eased back on exercise as he's been going through a growth spurt.
But he's looking a bit steadier. A bit less gangly.
This is his new fave thing. Basically a small mat made of highly coloured felt strips on a base. You 3"hide" his lunch in the felt petals and he happily snuffles around for quite a while finding the bits.
Added bonus is he eats slower so doesn't belch in your face after lunch anymore.
The naughty news is that he's learned to bark at all and sundry so that's got to be unlearned.... ?

Oh hang on a minute... reading it again I think it means Andre Wisdom's brother has confirmed that Andre is training with us. Yeah that's it ? Soz for getting hopes up.

ThePrisoner reacted to AndyinLiverpool in The billionaire space race
I'd have thought someone who blagged government handouts to pay Virgin employees and laid a bunch off would have had the good taste not to come back from space in his billionaire plaything.

Charging to 80% and then trickle charging the rest exponentially increases the life of a battery. More recent mobile phones do the same thing.
