Unfortunately I'm not sure this is the smoking gun some of you think it is. Under that rule, *if* we were to lose an arbitration, there's no doubt in my mind that the money would be classed as a football creditor. The rule is just a list of which entities count as football creditors, it makes no real attempt to classify different types of debts or anything, it simply says that all money owed to other clubs is a football creditor debt, full stop.  The fact that the amount owing is as yet unresolved (and may well be zero) doesn't change the fact we would owe it.
The way to attack their claims are their rights to bring them in the first place, covering the illegality of taking action against clubs in admin, the fact 'Boro's claim has already been looked at and basically kicked out, the fact they're trying to re-run EFL disciplinary cases because they didn't agree with the outcomes, and probably plenty of other things too.
And if it does come to an actual hearing, we have precedent on our side anyway:

    and

Both taken from the DC2 hearing against us, but are quoting the judgments against Birmingham and Sheff Weds respectively.  You cannot take evidence of overspending and convert it into any quantifiable measure of actual performance gain.

Currently talking with various members and fan groups privately to compile key points that can be pinned on the forum to be shared with the media and MP's.

Yay, I’m going to this!! After a brain haemorrhage and then lockdown I thought I’d never get to PP again. However, I’ve recovered really well over the summer, especially worked hard to improve physically and my partner is letting my son take me to the match - he’s much more worried than I am!
So, Rams, I’d appreciate a good performance and a win - though whatever happens I’ll feel like a winner just getting there.

It seems everybody in this forum agrees that the is vile and embarrassing behaviour at Bramall Lane by some Derby fans was unacceptable.
Of course a few won't really, but I highly doubt they will have the guts to say so in here.
A lot of people are growing to dislike us as much as Leeds were disliked in the 70s (and ever since tbf) and other clubs at various times like Millwall, Man U and Hope Valley Under-15s. Although the last one may be more personal tbf.
What Morris has been doing it entirely out of our control, but what those around us do, isn't.
For example, if a particular abusive chants start up, the majority could respond with something counter.
I don't mean Kumbaya, although that may very well work, or Imagine by John Lennon, although that too may work, but something like 'your're knobs and know you are etc'
Not that, clearly, that's lame, but something agreed on.
Plus, if fans en masse started filming the morons on their phones and the word had been put out that they'd be reporting to the club and/or Police it may help.
Obviously, I don't want anybody getting hurt, so be careful. And I'm happy to hold somebody's coat at the back if required.
    Back in Cornwall that is.
We have to make these people thoroughly unwelcome because whereas they may not care when they're high or drunk, they will be after and/or before.
What they are doing is often illegal, and in all seriousness, it is up to us to do something about it if it's to change.
I almost want to adopt Millwalls chant of 'Nobody likes us and we don't care' but I'd be lying, I do care and I'd like Derby to be admired and respected rather than despised and mocked.

I absolutely love the lad. People have short memories it seems to me, but he's always taken a good few games to get right on his A-game. Thought he was the absolute stand-out tonight. If we can keep him fit and in-form and get Bielik back in there too, we'll give any side in the div a game. Think it was Lamps who brought him in and he ought to know a bit about midfielders after all!

Shinnie is the guy you desperately need in a relegation scrap. Will fight for absolutely everything. He isn't the type of player to ever give up, plays for the badge. Proper player.

From all Derby fans that we are sorry what was sung to you yesterday unfortunately some people drank to much and lost all scences but does not excuse it what so ever. And if that has upset your family it is same here or sheffield untied support please do not judge all Derby fans with same brush.

100%. His interview today was inspirational. Didn't want him as manager but he's pretty much all we've got at the moment. Completely genuine, honest and grounded. Can't think of many previous managers who wouldn't have bailed out months ago, with the probable exception of Nigel Clough.

I swear there's a carbon monoxide leak in that dressing room whenever we're 1-0 up.
We were the much better side, but we need to be able to score more than once a game or we're going nowhere.
I was pretty stunned Jozwiak came off. Probably our brightest player in the second half. Ravel and Sibbo looked knackered and Kam was still fresh.
We lack the killer instinct but some of the play was excellent.

I too believe he should be played a bit deeper in some game to improve our playmaking from deeper positions, especially when the strengths we do have lie in those 3 positions behind the striker with Lawrence, Sibley, Watson, Hutchinson and Jozwiak all able to play there. Stick him next to Shinnie, who can do the donkey work, and I would imagine we would control games more. Obviously, horses for courses based on the opposition.
The change had to be made last night because Watson kept finding himself stood at left back in the first half. He looked confused.

Yes but they only did it because they ballsed up on ffp. Entirely their fault. In your analogy they'd already crashed the car and smashed it to pieces, but they've luckily found a way of keeping the car running on fumes for a little while longer. Lucky they had a way of getting themselves out the poo by selling the stadium.
With the amortisation i'm more inclined to agree with you, but we're still doing it differently to every other club in the league and asking for trouble.
No they're not. Every single referee isn't out to get poor little Derby either. Stop being so paranoid. Stadium was only sold to stop us breaching ffp - ie its our fault we wete in this mess in the first place.
Again i'm more inclined to agree on the amortisation, but again its another way we've tried to be clever and its backfired massively.

I would add, an utter lack of understanding of the situation we find ourselves in and the quality of players available to us within the EFL restrictions.

Well said.  Quite agree that this inequality is completely anti- competitive and ruining the game. FFP is nonsense and just limits the means to compete even further and benefits no-one. Instead of petty squabbles between championship clubs about who is breaking the rules, they should be working together to protest about the bigger picture.

£125m for being the worst team in the league.
    Just let that sink in.
One hundred and twenty five million pounds for being crap.
That’s 3 clubs coming down with a total of £381m, but that’s not all, the Premier League will also give them parachute payments to soften the blow.
Sorry to start another topic on this, but it’s a topic that needs to be repeated, football is broken. It’s broken and they are doing nothing about it. Why?
We have to try and compete with those 3 next year, with barely any revenue we have to compete against clubs with over £100m in their back pockets.
    What hope do we have?
Yes I know money doesn’t always = success, Brentford beat Bournemouth, made it to Wembley but how many years have they been trying to get there?
Whoever goes up it’s a major achievement, getting past the parachute payment clubs, it’s huge, one season up there and they have banked over £100m, it’s madness.
We can never have a completely level playing field, I understand that, but the PL and EFL could come together and distribute that money out more fairly.
    Why are they not?
Why are these questions not being asked?
Do we need to see more clubs liquidated, more clubs going bankrupt trying to compete from the Championship to League 2, all the national media journalists will be all over that, justice for Bury, why not call it out now?
Heads are so far up the Premier League’s backside the Football League barely gets a mention.
I’m ranting I know, but £125m for being crap.
Who signs off on that and thinks it’s good for football?
    It’s broken, football is broken.
