Celebrate the return of the Rams after very nearly being killed by Steve Gibson, Rick Parry, Kieran Maguire and that arse from Wycombe,
Go on the pitch/don't go on the pitch, just stay in the ground and enjoy the day then retire to a pub crawl round town.
Merry Widows, Neptune, Metro Bar, Tiger Bar, White Horse, Noahs Ark, Jorrocks, Dolphin, Bess of Hardwick etc.
If someone would be so kind as to shovel me on the last train to Utch it would be greatly appreciated.

Warne may not be a tactical genius, or have the wherewithal to train a team to play the technical possession game which is most desired these days. However, I do think he's a great coach when it comes to man management and creating a positive club culture and that cannot be disregarded. Obviously you want a coach who does both, but Klopp ain't gonna drop down to Derby's level, lads. Maybe I'll change my opinion in 6 months time, but (for now) I'm happy to have a man at the helm who is trying to create a happy working atmosphere around a club which nearly dissolved 18 months ago and wants to bring in players who have a good attitude.

I do think we're still in a very strong position. Wycombe away on a Wednesday night always looked a bit tricky to me, but the next three games should all be eminently winnable (of course, easier said than done). It's "in Bolton's hands", but do I fancy them to win all four of their games between now and the end of the season, absolutely not. This is going down to the last day of the season, and, if that's the case, I really fancy our chances.

This is our second season following a significant meltdown off the pitch which resulted in obvious repercussions on it. We've consolidated and are now in a good position to return to the Championship.
Agreed. Having to rebuild a squad from scratch under heavy EFL restrictions? I'd say having a massive shot at automatic promotion at the end of season two is a very good job indeed by all at the club.

Wildsmith looked nervy all game, Blackett-Taylor looks like he's gonna be a fun signing once he's fully integrated into the team, Cashin magnificent at the back (again), great to have Collins back in the starting line up. Would have taken a point before the game, so certainly won't complain.

Have the Oxford United away tickets sold out already?

I'm surprised that Brighton are interested. I thinK Cashin is a talented young player, but his ceiling is the Championship imo. He's not a natural ball-playing centre back, he's not particularly tall or fast. I don't really see him as the type of player Brighton go for (a Levi Colwill for example).
Would be sad to see him go, but for £3m+ (and potential loan back), I'd shake their hand and take the money.

Administration was horrible and something I hope we never go through again. However, weirdly it has been one of my favourite seasons of football for a long time. The fans, players and manager came together. The atmosphere was the best it’s ever been at PP. Everyone was against us and we played like that too. Some of my favourite memories from the last 5 years or so was from that season. Wba, Fulham, bmouth, sheff U at home. Incredible atmospheres
I won't disagree that the unity was an incredible feeling. The psychodrama surrounding the takeover, however, led to many sleepless nights.
-
Only recently I remembered how badly that period of administration affected my enjoyment of football. Completely fell out of love with the game. One year one since the club was saved, and I'm feeling much brighter about Derby County and football in general.

I think that’s a harsh decision, but Davies’ poor pass caused the panic. He’s a legend, but he’s clearly too old for this level.

Ryan Manning. Left back with four goals and six assists? Yes please. Can't keep playing Sibley there next season.

If anyone wants cheap home tickets to Oxford, there's a local radio station doing a promo deal on pairs of adult tickets: https://www.jackfm.co.uk/jack-shop/voucher/a-pair-of-tickets-in-south-stand-lower-for-oxford-united-v-derby-county-11th-march-1188/?utm_source=newsletter-mpid5205&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Matt+Richardson+joins+JACKfm

Just in case you missed it, Derby County Head Coach Paul Warne and members of his coaching staff will be raising welcome funds for Prostate Cancer UK during November.
Currently at 33% of their target, so do help out for a good cause if you can!

FA Cup always throws up strange results. Let’s not top ourselves just yet. As far as I see Torquay have earned the right to a nice payday and a battering at Pride Park.

I have to say, after listening to the whole of Moment Of Truth over the past few days, I'm looking forward to Warne's reign. I definitely thought he came across as a bit of a plonker, but he won me round by the end. There's no doubting his ability to motivate those Rotherham lads and hope he gets time to create a similar bond at our club. More than anything, and maybe this is really a bigger compliment for the podcasts format, but I really enjoyed his emotional honesty and transparency. Maybe he'll come across totally different without a BTS podcast eavesdropping into all the goings-on, but I find him a fairly refreshing personality in football. Can't think of many quite like him really.
End of season celebrations.

Not sure I agree with you there, but that's fine.
