  1. 31Vickers: 7 Doesn’t have the on-pitch personality of JW but every bit as good of a keeper. A critical punched clearance and 3 regulation saves. 2 poor kicks straight into touch.

35Nelson: 8 I’d want this man alongside me in the trenches. He’s my captain.,

5Bradley: 7.5 His rehab is almost complete and we’re all erasing his jelly-legs early days. Epitomised the spirit of the day with a British Bulldog showing.

6Cashin: 8 Tenacity, guile & perpetual motion. Never stops working because he has no off switch.

23Ward: 6.5 3 or 4 pretty crosses but has to make more of a contribution for me.

24Nyambe: 6.0 Late legs but filled me with relief & reassurance in the nervous nineties.

32Adams: 8 His name is Ebrima "Ebou" Adams; such was his impact that already the “Ebouuuuuuuuu” a la “Poooooooom” spontaneously rang up as the travelling Rams acknowledged an impressive debut wherein the Smiling Assassin blocked, tackled and recycled possessions with a graceful menace. Went off with cramp but an exceptional addition who brings stonewall solidity.

    16Thompson :  6 Wasp-like late legs.

8Bird 🦅 : 8 I’m gutted that he’s leaving. His press & pass through the eye of a needle was a moment of high quality. Should have scored when he danced a jig past the Charlton back line only to stroke it wide.

    4Hourihane: 6 Flappy, floppy paddle.

17Sibley: 7.5 Presence and determination & started several raids out left.

20Elder: 6.5 Telling interceptions and long-ranging clearances in the nervous nineties but always seems a bit flat-footed to me.

11Méndez-Laing: 7.5 Won the match in 31 minutes. Warne better pray hard for NML’s quick recovery.

    7Barkhuizen: 6.5 Insufficient impact & sideways running 🏃

    2Wilson 6 Late legs.

9Collins 6.5 I love Collo’s heart and work rate but quite often he looks like he’s some random chap in his own private running race that just happens to be on a football pitch where a game is simultaneously taking place. I hold Warne responsible for this not Collo. Can’t really recall Collo with the ball under control the entire 90.

An ugly win and spot-on tactics because Charlton are a bunch of bone-splitters. We effectively showed a moment of class then brought the shutters down and for that Warne & his staff take credit. The mutual love in the camp is great but the staff’s job is also to instil some craft and skill and a degree of eye-pleasing product and that is not so much in evidence and it’s no use saying wait until we get up for that because it’ll be too late.
The attached picture epitomises the game yesterday in microcosm. I’m pleased for Sonney Bradley who had his best game in a Ram’s shirt.

Especially against a lad effectively playing park football just 2 years ago. Like I said, he cost Peterborough £5k, it shows the talent is still out there in non league.

…if only the lad Taylor could shoot as well as run fast 😏

At least you had some! No ladies toilets, just 3 non-flushing portaloos for us.

For 1800 supporters, probably about 400 females.

I called over the head steward and threatened legal action, was promptly escorted over to the clean, well-lit facilities in the main stand, which were empty, of course.

    Sorry for the aside, Ellafella.

Please don’t apologise @angieram. Au contraire well done for your proactive action with the steward. There were lots of male Rams leaving the black hole of a toilet with wet shoes but fair play to Lincoln they eventually found an emergency lamp so we were no longer peeing in the dark. 😮

  7. 31Vickers: 7 Good game. 2 full-length saves  & snuffed out the 1 v 1.

2Wilson: 7 Slotted in well and did the defensive work well. Distributed well. Consequently muted his attacking play.

35Nelson: 7.5 Solidity personified. A thumping headed chance was straight at their keeper.

6Cashin: 6 Was beaten for pace 3x by Taylor which is unusual to see. Picked up a half-mark for clearing off the line.

20Elder: 6.5 Probably his best game yet after his Burton nightmare. Looked a sharper more solid version of himself. Some nice long passes.

7Barkhuizen: 6 Posed some threat but marshalled by their defence.

16Thompson: 6 Brought industrial energy in the final quarter without finding a foothold to exploit.

8Bird: 7.5 Weaved away constantly in the engine room in a crowded space.

4Hourihane: 6 A little off the pace of the game & couldn’t quite deliver the killer ball.

11Méndez-Laing: 7 Early threats when he powered through but thereafter well marshalled.

17Sibley 6 Good early game cross which found Nelson’s forehead.

19John-Jules 6 Would like to see him step-up and link up with Collins more. He needs to take a lead not play 2nd & 3rd fiddle.

9Collins: 6.5 A couple of half-chances in the box but a game of feeding off scraps.

Credit to Imps who put in a huge effort to thwart Derby, and actually had the far better chances in a game that Derby bossed possession wise. A draw was a fair outcome. We need another option to draw upon via the open window as the sticky pitches become energy-sapping and we move into the 2nd part of the season. We are set fair but not convincingly top 2 quality yet.

Yes, they were actually - and numerous fans from clubs across the UK came to the march and subsequent sell out game against Birmingham at Pride Park. Putting hard cash in our coffers when we needed it.

And supporting initiatives like the one to pay back St John's Ambulance when they lost out in our administration.

I can understand people who hear chants from a small vocal minority of supporters at games taking umbrage, but this isn't about them, or the Club, it's about those patient fans who put in the hard yards -  year in, year out -  following their club.

I feel their pain, and tbf, I think B4 would do too, given how anguished he was when we were in the same situation.

Some things are more fundamental than fan rivalry.

    Hear! Hear! @angieram
