What I thought was great at the start of the season was the video they showed pre-game that ran through the highs and lows of last season and then led into the summer signings, the pre-season games and the first couple of games of this season. The club then stopped showing it. Obviously there is a potential to now have a video running for 30 minutes which is not suitable but perhaps an opportunity to take some of the highs and lows from last season and then link onto some of our great high points in the first half of this season? Something to show the reality of where we where just 12 months ago and we are now.

I pay a monthly subscription to Experian who monitor any activity in respect of credit checks etc, which always occur if someone is trying to set up bank accounts, credit cards and credit agreements with your details. It became essential a few years ago when I lived somewhere where identity theft was a real problem. It's probably not so necessary for me now I live somewhere less at risk of mail theft etc, and at around £180 pa it's not cheap, but after the aggro I had resolving a number of issues, it gives me peace of mind.
I should add that they've also alerted me to a number of occasions when my email and password details etc have been touted around after a data breach.

That does sound like George Nunn, @angieram.
Courtney Clarke (is he known as CJ now?) had an injury carried over from the end of last season and didn't make his first U21 appearance until Bournemouth U21s away on Friday 23rd September. I think he's made nine U21 appearances so far this season, six as a starter, the majority of those in central midfield.
By my calculations, these are the appearance and Goals scored stats for the U21s and U18s this season.

Sorry to hear that, a complete pain to deal with and none of it your fault. Sounds like you have taken all the correct action. Expect lots of scam calls about problems with your microsoft computer and unauthorised activity on your bank account.
    Quite a good discussion here:

I'm very happy we got Clowes as our owner, but I presume this is a negotiating tactic by Ashley. Might be a shitty way to go about it, but completely different to our situation.
Yes I'm sure it would have been much better to just cease to exist. Ashley is still better than no club and we had very few options at the time until Clowes stepped in to save us.

Mcgoldrick has got to be up there, I know it was Torquay but I thought he played so well last night, MOM for me.  Hardworking, decent passing and running with the ball.  Just a quality footballer.

Yeah, we don't need to be drawing attention from the FA and Kick it out for singing about Mendez-Laing's penis.
Whilst it's obviously not intended to be offensive, the governing bodies won't see it that way.
Do we really need that kind of attention, labelled as racist? Probably best to bin it now.
We won't though, lads will be lads, bought their ticket, will do what they want.

Can't see us being suddenly allowed to pay for any players in January though. If we're looking at freebies only, then we might as well start now.

I just want to say how lucky you are to have Paul Warne as manager. I've supported the millers for 69 years. Obviously, I've seen managers come and go during that period. As far as I'm concerned, and many other fans Warne is the best manager we've had.
Like Derby fans we went through some dark times. Administration points deducted, lost our ground, forced to play in Sheffield in an athletic stadium. No atmosphere, 4 years in the 4th division.
Paul has many qualities. Excellent staff management, a workaholic. He's articulate, honest and will live and breathe Derby County.
I thank him for all the memories, 3 Wembley wins 3 promotions and I wish him well and as a consequence wish the Rams well. I've never had a second team, but for the first time Derby County will be my second team. I look forward to seeing Paul succeed.
Hopefully Derby will be promoted and we survive in the championship and look forward to see you at the New York stadium.
    All the best.

    I agree, Saffy.
The interview and all the media around it has made me feel uncomfortable,  it's all overkill at this stage.
It went on too long - very complicated answers, thought Warne was trying too hard. My comment about the coffee was only partly in jest, he really needs to calm down a bit! Maybe the club could do the same. We've hardly signed up Fergie - and if we have he's more Darren than Alex!
From where I sit, the fans were enjoying the fact we were trying to play football, weren't calling for the manager's head, so there's that bit of unease around the way Liam has been treated. He failed his target - so what was that? We were seventh after the start to the season we had, hardly dismissal material.
As for Warne, I didn't like him before, he's very aggressive on the touchline, a bit of a bully with the officials, I sit above the away dug out so see it every game. Seems to encourage his players in the dark arts, Crooks springs to mind as an example. A good footballer, but playing on the edge of legitimacy all the time - more bullying.
I think some players will respond well to him, but others? I don't know. I know I wouldn't want my boss texting me all hours with snippets - there needs to be boundaries, imo.
So, all that touchy feely stuff left me feeling a bit underwhelmed.
However, what I did like, was when he started talking tactics. He suddenly grabbed my attention and I liked what I was hearing. My fears about the sort of football we're going to see have subsided somewhat, especially as we've not got those sorts of players available to him (currently).
If he can deliver what he says, and if he can tone it down a bit, I'll be happy. But I'm not in the fanclub yet!

Are you really trying to push an argument that Warne has faced challenges at Rotherham this season that are similar to those faced by Liam at Derby. I doubt Warne had a squad of 5 players on 1st July.
Rotherham's away form this season is only marginally better than Derby's and yet an argument is being made that it is right to replace Liam as our away form isn't good enough. If poor away form is the problem then Warne doesn't seem the obvious answer.
