A bad result, but can’t fault performance or effort. Can’t blame Warne. We had more than enough chances to bury this game. Sometimes it goes like that. It was important we didn’t lose. The Accrington game has evened itself out. Can’t believe we missed two penalties.
Squad is looking very thin and it was a young team at the end.
We are still in a good position. Definitely more positives than negatives.

Yeah, it's crazy to write this season off on the first day of November after a good performance, albeit poor result. We'll be there or there abouts come the end of the season.

Good old Burley.  Came on the Radio after we'd just lost Gillingham to do the Captains talk and refused to talk about the game and wanted to know when he was getting the 25% wages he hadn't received that week.

    - 27 shots
    - Two missed penalties
    - One (deflected) goal
Can't blame the tactics for that.

Yes Craig Burley could’ve scored a hat trick of penalties but missed the last one in the Bradford game at Valley Parade

Reading the comments some people are looking very stupid now.
Listening on RD, my football hating missus is listening too and when we scored she said even with her limited knowledge that we had to score given how many chances we’ve had.

I think the situation behind the scenes with the club finances warranted it and probably helped get some bodies in. Agree he was introduced to the team too early. £700k was a good deal for the player then, he’s taken 18 months/2 years since to show anything. Had we been stable we could’ve let him develop.

He’s brilliant. Everything the pace, power, trickery, end product, fitness, he can even defend, has a good football brain. People (partly as a stick to beat Warne with) have been criticising the move to wing back, I actually think he’s played really well there still showing he’s a threat while making important defensive contributions.

At this early stage my top 3 for POTY are Mendez-Laing, Cashin and Wildsmith in that order.

Just thought I’d start off by saying Warneball is so s*** to watch ?
From hearing his interviews listening to his podcasts it’s clear today is how he wants us to play and if this is what Warneball is, give me more!! Yes please!!

The only travesty today is that it was 4-2, we totally outclassed them, we were at least 3 or 4 goals better. They got a bit of luck with the first goal, and the penalty (yet another) was stupid from Foz but in a way down to a left back playing right centre half.
So many good performances today. Didzy gets the plaudits he was phenomenal, loved Collins’ performance and pleased he got his goal, Mendez-Laing is my player of the year so far he’s barely had a bad game, Dobbin gave a good solid team performance, ran his socks off, and Bird and Hourihane were so much better today, before we get to the full backs, Smith solid taking one for the team playing out of position, and Roberts has just given his two best performances back to back. And Wildsmith is the best keeper in the league!! And Cash!!! The best centre half in the league
We should’ve been further ahead at half time, we went for the 5th first 15 mins of the second half unlucky not to get it, from that point in the game management was superb!
I missed Oxford and Wycombe, but from the rest this is by far the best performance of the season!

Been a brilliant acquisition. Even at wing back hes been excellent still a threat going forward but he has a good defensive brain. When we have played wing backs I don’t think we’ve lost anything from NML. He’s my player of the year so far.
