just seen the highlights - sorry that’s not a sending off - penalty it sure was but it shouldn’t have been as their player booted the ball out for the corner  - so incredibly unlucky not to get something out of the game considering we hit the woodwork twice.

We could even profit from it - QPR would have precedent set by the courts and we could destroy them as well 
ironic to think that Middlesbrough would even have had scored a goal against leeds never mind Aston Villa 

All in therory but we are still operating on a very restricted squad and the big one is that we still have no goal scorers so gaining those extra points is extremely unlikely 12 points is still unlikely but it would give us something to actually play for 

We have to remember that the EFL's conduct in the DCFC disciplinary case has stoked media frenzies and emboldened gobby hypocrites like the Boro and Wycombe chiefs to dip their bread, to make a lot of spurious noise to allege misfortune caused by the 'guilty' party, their aim being to further damage a competitor. 
* Dragging out the proceedings for over a year and a half, allowing a fellow club (Boro) to engage in actions against DCFC whilst the disciplinary case was in progress (thereby extending the torture for a year, though the actions were thrown out)
* Drip-feeding negative updates to the media without consultation with Derby (positing 'alternative' Derby/Wycombe fixture lists for a Championship <> League One swap if a 2020/21 points deduction was applied)
* Stating their 'regret' that their appeal resulted only in a £100,000 fine for DCFC's amortisation technicalities
* Not reprimanding the Wycombe cowboy for publicly accusing DCFC of systematic cheating
Now we're in administration, minus 12 points with the prospect of further penalties, most even-minded people would surmise that Derby had copped their just desserts and a reset had been enforced.

We didn’t just take it, we massively improved on it, by locating it in not-Middlesbrough.

Odd that Gibson isn't sueing Villa, who came roaring past both us and Boro from the bottom half of the table after overspending massively in that particular season, and who also sold their stadium to their owners. 
Someone might think it's not really justice he's interested in.

Here we are, administrators in, massive points deduction, an estimated £50m or whatever in debt, unable to pay wages. His gripe is that Mel sold the stadium to another of Mel's companies (accepted as OK by the League because not every club owns their stadium and you can't force a club to) and that Derby loaned Matt Clarke when Gibson wanted him to go to Middlesbrough.
Of course claims such as these are manifestly absurd and would normally be laughed out of court. But the problem is it's inconceivable that the Derby Administrators can also afford to pay lawyers to fight the Middlesboro Chairman. Equally, it's inconceivable that Derby could afford any additional fines the courts might impose.
The sole purpose of this can only be to ensure the end of Derby County as a football club. Nothing less. The entire football world including honest Middlesbrough fans should be outraged by this behaviour and condemn it in the strongest possible terms. The club can't afford to fight this, so it's up to us fans to shame Gibson into stopping this despicable course of action.

Nope ! As I said before … they had a reasonable plan that was working. It was entirely and singularly derailed by Covid. That is force majeur

Functioning entity with reasonable plan to resolve acknowledged  difficulties.
The only thing that interrupted that plan was Covid. It didn’t “contribute” … you died when you fell in the sea. The fall didn’t kill you, there was a bit of drop, but people were there with ropes and life rafts .. but then a shark ate you … Force Majeur 
 
A pandemic of a type that is at best a once in 100 year event ( and before Spanish flu we are talking once in 300 years ) This event reduced club income  income by 90%
