Trafford is young and not yet strong enough. He’s undoubtedly a good shot stopper but he’s terrible on crosses.
Premier League teams have exploited this and Kompany has rested him.

Evidently not!! I hadn't looked into his history, just liked the look of what I saw, and thought he might become available if Burnley are relegated. Ho Hum. Maybe the season after? !!!

Thanks for checking in, and thanks for your comments! I always liked Ian Evatt, and am glad he is having some success, and would love for you to win the play-offs. In reality most of us are relieved, and delighted that we've got the job done, because I am sure we wouldn't make it through the EFL roulette competition!
My only gripe with Bolton is, having visited there 3 times, it is a bit of a pig to get away from when the match is over! But I can put up with that!

Why the ref didn’t even book PVH for breaking the Tin Man’s leg and basically ended his career…

I should hope he has impressed you seeing as they signed him for 15mill, rising to 19mill from man city after staring in the England under 21 side in the summer.
Think a new contract for wildsmith might be a bit more in our reach

Someone I have been impressed by is James Trafford, the young lad playing in goal for Burnley, although he didn’t play on Saturday. Given the amount of pressure the Burnley defence has been under, ge has done exceptionally well whenever I have seen him.

If memory serves me correctly, Mickey Lewis would from time to time kick the ball, but only if he had to!

I didn't know what prosaic meant before this exchange either. I thought it was an anti-depressant.

I would go for the Chris Martin sending iff against Burnley which cost us automatic promotion, and effectively triggered our demise.
But running it a very, very close second was Middlesbrough away in the relegation season during the war with the efl.
Crook elbowed Beilik in the face which didn’t even warrant a free kick when it should have been a red card, as was his scything down Max Bird. He got away with 2 yellow card offences as well, so was still on the pitch in time added on at the end of the first half to score from an offside position.
In terms of justice it tops the lot by miles, but the Burnley injustice cost us more.

Was just starting to go through the gears and then he missed that sitter at Wycombe. The fact we drew and at the time it looked a costly error probably didn’t do him any favours.

Then he fell out the team and the nature of the rest of the matches meant he hardly got a kick.

Clean slate for next season and hopefully he can do a job in some capacity.

Agree about the move from London. After the hustle and bustle, and the bright lights of London, his first wander into our city centre would be one hell of a blow! It's a dump, especially the Victoria Street area! No wonder he seemed to lose his way!

Given that I, and many others, found it almost impossible to get away tickets in the season just gone, I am hopeful that the larger grounds will give us an opportunity to start supporting this wonderful club on the road once more.

Er, Nick Blackman had a good half season at Reading. Albentosa was playing for Eibar in La Liga when we signed him and earning very good reviews. The Clique were well known for making it hard for newcomers to be accepted, particularly if those newcomers threatened their mates' places. I was told that Albentosa was eating alone in the restaurant at the training ground, which is a pretty miserable scenario when you're in a foreign land away from your family and friends. That may explain why he was a flop here.

As Caerphilly Ram noted, in a video about what happened at the sharp end of the pitch it was great to keep slotting in the great saves as well - they played a massive part in our success!

The Lampard team was actually really close knit from the fans POV looking in. Needed to be as well with him managing it.

    Ah, the great Richard Keogh.
I remember being ridiculed here when I said he doesn't look much of a captain to me. He was blaming others for his own mistakes, mostly Bogle, maybe because he was an easy target as a teenager. Blaming others is not a sign of leadership or being an accountable adult, never mind a captain. I don't want to piss off our supporters so I left it there, but in hindsight, you could say, there's a difference between blind support and support. What we are witnessing with the notts forest is blind support and I wish we never get there again.
Later we learned that being accountable is hardly his strength off the pitch either. With that night out he also showed how bad example and guidance he gave to younger players.
Just reflect on it a bit: Keogh whining and mutinying to Morris about Pearson. It's all just pure toxicity and such persons shouldn't be close to our team ever again. Big thank you for Clowes and his recruitment. No wonder I kept losing my love for the game.
Keogh was a decent Championship footballer though. Shame he wasn't much of an adult. Maybe as a pensioner, he can grow up now.

Even the defense chipped in with (more than) their fair share:
    Cash - 3
    Bradley - 3
    Fozzy - 3
    Nelson - 2
    Ward - 2
    Wilson - 2
Shame we didn't get a pen in the last 10 mins against Carlisle, could have let Wildsmith take it to complete the set! 😄
