Looks like I won't be renewing. Just moved house to near Carlisle and the trains from there are a lottery without the useless train drivers striking every weekend. It was bad enough last year going from Berwick, and twice the train back stopped in Newcastle and I struggled to get home. It's not worth the hassle for a handful of games.

Played for Duffield Dynamos, so comes with great pedigree.

These new players will have to be a better than Springett. Unless we are just building a team to get out of a very poor League 1. Next season we could be in a league with Leeds , Leicester, Southampton , Norwich , Watford etc . All getting £40 mill a year parachute money. Ipswich will be cannon fodder next season. These player have got to be able to hold their own in the Championship.

Not sure.  I know the team didn't last long as it had too many American players playing some games and was thrown out the League at some point.  I suspect it had something to do with Gibsons great grandad.

My grandparents lived a few hundred yards from the Baseball Ground in Harrington Street. We had visited them on the evening of that match and on the way home my dad drove past the ground and the experience was magical - the noise from the crowd, the glow of the floodlights spilling over onto the terraced houses around the ground.
I was already keen, but got fully hooked that night!

Remember what PW has said about the way he recruits players. Not only do they need to be a decent player, they also need to be a decent person, which he and the rest of the team, can work with.
A couple of names linked with us have good records, but according to someone I know in scouting, are less than desirable as a person and the club will steer well clear of these type of players, irrespective of how talented they are.

They didn’t even go on sale last year until 06/07/22. So we’re 10000 ahead of last year if you want to look at it that way 

Think the inclusion of Sibley in the plans calls it's accuracy into question. There's not a cat in hell's chance Warne will be buying players cos they will work well with the lad.  If Sibley was central to Warnes plans he would've given him more game time last season.

I like it when we have intelligent visitors, for every knob head there are those with an honest view from the other side of the fence. It’s healthy … And on the knobs meh ! We’ve got a few too and all are good for an ironic laugh.
