Lots of great goals, Hughes backheel flick against Brighton, and Bent's goal over his shoulder, but I always liked Georgeous George's 30 yarder into the top corner! I like the rocket shots more than the intricate team play goals!

Can’t even done as it’s outside statute limitations, has to be done within 6 years of the alleged offence.
Villa it is then!!

I think it would be brilliant if when his name was read out prior to the game and for his every touch there was complete silence from the fans! I think he would feed off either the anger of applause of the home fans, so frosty silence is best and would probably confuse him!!
No one likes to be ignored, so ignore him!! ?

Weird innit, when watching premiership games, when I couldn’t care less at kick off who wins, gets decided at some point. It’s usually if I think a decision I don’t agreed with, or players that quite obviously cheat and the commentator tries to convince us it’s a foul because a player taps a guy on the shoulder and he goes down. Sometimes it’s the colour of the kit ?.
But you’re right, it’s almost impossible ( fo me) to watch a match without routing for one of the teams.
Glad it's not just me then!!
I usually find it's the first near miss, I either wince or get that tingle of excitement, then I know who I want to win!!

I always try to contrive some sort of emotional attachment on a game-by-game basis: former Rams I like / dislike, nice colour shirts, once robbed us in a play off final, once sold us Barry Powell etc. So I would probably just carry on doing that.
But it's always a contrivance.
I find that I can't be unbiased in football , even in random games between teams I have no affiliation for, and I don't always know who I'm supporting until there is a chance or a goal, then my reaction tells me who I want to win, sometimes it surprises me!! ??
But I might be a bit strange!!!

I live in Bognor Regis, got mates who are Rocks fans, so would probably go there more, but my heart wouldn't be in it the same way??!

I'm off out for an hour's MTB ride, then back to a log fire to defrost my nether region, nice pint and watch the game. COYR.

According to family history my Grandad played in a local cup final at the baseball ground in the 1920s, unfortunately he was gone before it became important enough for me to ask, neither my dad nor my uncle were alive when it happened and had no further details!!

Two points:
Villa overspent and finished 5th, where is their court summons?
How can he prove that, if we had crafted a more frugal team of grafters and experienced pros and kept within budgets, we would not have performed as well as we did.
Recent history shows we are no good with expensive names, but play well with less fashionable hard workers!

Thought they would've given him more time after what he's done for them, but can't say i'm too bothered.
Hope whoever replaces him fails spectacularly and brings villa back to the football league
I agree, cos with parachute payments and 100mill for Bambi burning a hole in their pockets they will really struggle!! ???

Maybe he was made captain to increase his value, he's the most saleable asset we have and now as captain that has to add a nice chunk to any fee expected!! Smart thinking!! ?

Born and raised on the West Sussex coast, but my Grandparents were, from Codnor Loscoe, my Grandad walked to the Kent coalfields in the 1930s to find work, and never went back! He used to talk about Derbyshire and let me read a magazine he used to get which I think was called 'ey up me duck', was a Rams fan from about 1976 first saw them at the Goldstone ground, approx 1979! Maybe it's my fault, they've done duck all since I've been a fan!!! Sorry! ??

I thought 2020 was a tough year, 2021 has been absolutely mental so far.
5 weeks ago my brother-in-law committed suicide and then last week my wife lost our baby whilst 4 months pregnant and we spent a rough couple of days in hospital having to still give birth. Tough times.
I was at least hopeful Wayne Rooneys Rams would cheer me up slightly on the Saturday, but it wasnt to be.
My escapism has always been the Rams, but at the minute it's like going on holiday to Normanton to get away from it all.
My wife and I have also suffered numerous miscarriages, it is hard to put into words how you feel at the time! One thing I have noticed in people's responses however, is there appears to be a correlation between how far along the pregnancy was to how much understanding you received! I got many 'oh well at least you didn't know for long!' responses to the early ones! Please remember, they all hurt!!

The Sun photographers probably gave some kids a bit of cash to go and draw on the car, then took photos of it afterwards! I would hate to be any kind of celeb in this day and age, always someone out to have a go!!
