Whether it's a good deal or not, is the personal abuse from fans more likely to: A, make him work harder in his last few months? B, sour his memory of his time with the club and make him say f%£& the ungrateful turds, and wait out for his fresh start with minimal effort/risk required?

I got chased away from a pub in Derby on my first visit to the BB in the 80s, never been before, so I saw a group of Derby fans drinking outside, so asked them for directions to the ground, was met with abuse, threats and a couple of badly aimed pints! Didn't even stop to consider that i was born and raised on the South Coast so have a southern accent and the opponents that day were Charlton! Probably thought I was a cheeky cockney trying to wind them up!! Never run so fast in my life!! 😂👍🏃

I don't often comment on posts, but this to me shows why people on forums get into arguments, the point made seems skewed and doesn't seem to understand our position! We were in league one long before the squad was assembled. We have the squad we do because we are in League one, we are not in League one because of the squad we have! A subtle but very important difference!

Question, if the bigger teams, Man Cury, Chelsea etc, started getting scrutinised more closely, is that not increasing the likelihood of a breakaway Europe Super League, playing to its own rules?
