Hi, not sure about the lagalities of this, but is there anyway someone can set up a just giving page for Dave Clowes, to say thank you and show our support! If every adult fan put in just £10 it must add up to about half a million towards the running of the club!! Not sure how it would stand with the EFL for them to take the money and use it, but if they couldn't use it directly, maybe it could be used to buy a sponsorship deal with the club for a local children's charity, it would just be a way to say thank you for saving the club!!

I've just had a thought, could be a coincidence, could be more, but isn't it odd that Rooney resigns just after it is announced that we will play Leicester in a friendly!! ??????
-
Not read all the pages as just in from work, but is it possible that Clowes didn't rate him, didnt want him and offered him the chance to go off his own back rather than be sacked! Clowes is a fan after all and may not have liked what he saw over all last year and that regime doesn't fit his plans!!

Having said that I would love to see Jody Morris here. I just hope Clowes has some one with good football knowledge lined up as we need a replacement ASAP. Until we get a manager in we can’t think about signing players.
Agree, I always felt that Jody was the tactical brain in the Lampard Morris duo and the Frank was just good at forming the team mentality, maybe Jody had enough of not being listened to at critical points and that is why he didn't go to Everton!
Think he has the makings of a good manager, but maybe not the name to open the doors for the opportunities!!

I just wonder if this isn't all for the best and some benefactor will come out of left field to save the day and make a great job of it!! Either that or we are ducked!!!!! ??

A couple of days ago when Dawes broke the 'collapse' story there was also talk about the end of Mays wages. Around then was when Nixon said CK had 'topped up' the money left in Q's account. I just found the amount of £1.6m a bit much then, but who knows.
Yeah he's done a 'quick loan' whatever that is and no it's not refundable.
Didn't the preferred bidder also have to put down a 5mill deposit that was non refundable? So surely he stands to lose 6.6mill if it all goes Pete Tong? ??

Are the stars aligning for player/coach Curtis Davies to be unveiled as soon as the club is sold??

Granddad's team, Derby on dads side, mum's side he preferred cricket but if pushed Wolves
Dad's team, Derby.
Mum's team, Wolves because her dad did (my brother supports them too!)
School, late 70s early 80s so Brighton or Pompey due to location and Liverpool due to glory hunting!
Local team, Bognor Regis Fc.
Kids club, I'm trying to push Derby, but she is more into dance and drama ??.

If Rooney were to leave what are our options in terms of appointing a manager whilst in administration?
Do the administrators appoint someone alongside the preferred bidder? Seems risky if for whatever reason that bid falls through.
Step forward Curtis Eugene Davies, Player Manager!! ??⚽

Or asking, is this where all the big nobs hang out?
On the other hand, why do people in car parks need to park right next to each other, even in an otherwise empty car park, I usually return to my car to find other cars parked all around it as close as they can get!!!
