Parachute payments aren't a bad thing in themselves, it's the use of them by the relegated clubs that is the problem. The EFL say they want changes but the EPL say that they aren't a problem and aren't going to change anything. Surely the EFL should put in their rules methods that will force the clubs to use these payments as a "parachute" and not as an escape rocket.
Instead of allowing bigger losses they should limit them to at best the same. This would reduce allowable spending. If the club doesn't get promoted within three years then they will have to reduce their squad and running costs accordingly. Also it should be a written rule that any club breaking FFP when promoted (exclude promotion bonuses for example) will receive a points penalty in their first season on being relegated. The size of the penalty should be on a running scale for the amount of overspend.

And they’re supposed to be to pay off the contracts of premier league players, but there are no methods to enforce that, so instead they end up blowing them all on trying to get promoted, massively inflating the market so the other teams have to try to keep up causing issues like us and reading and countless others, and if they don’t get promoted in three seasons, they destroy their club anyway. 
Money is supposed to trickle down from the premier league, but it seems like the only thing that trickles down are bigger and bigger debts.

I think it will do these perpetual Prem clubs some good to see the lower leagues for a bit. Hopefully Chelsea next year as well.

Hs told us at the awards night that media is his immediate plan when he retires as he can do it straight away but that he wants to go down the coaching route longer term. 
Also thinks he's got another season in him, preferably at Derby but, if not, he would love to go back to Orient. 

Yeh I think he would work well in the media though - talks well and whenever I see him in media stuff he seems to come across well.

They've spent virtually nothing on transfers though. Yes the wages are probably a bit higher than other teams in that league, but they aren't exactly drowning the club with money. If the level of investment stays as it is they'd be able to do that indefinitely
And if you are going to question how deep Reynolds pockets are we'll have to do the same with Clowes. Reynolds doesn't just make his money from movies - he's sold a number of company stakes for very good money in the past. 
EDIT: Just had a quick look and turns out they have only paid one transfer fee in the entire time they have been there. They've also increased the revenue to record levels. Still made a loss of £2mill, but its not exactly massive is it. Not sure why you are all so upset about a club that nearly ceased to exist having a very modest amount of investment plugged into it.
