Croatia are a tough playing team. I'm not sure our kids are up to it, good as they are in the league. Stirling has a poor recent scoring record. I wouldn't start him, I think he unbalances the team. Given the fouls he wins I would start Grealish.

Its not the EFLs fault that some clubs are run poorly from a financial perspective. The rules apply to everyone - not just the well run clubs.

We don't have any other centre backs at the moment, but I do agree he is a lot better than the rest of the players he had to play next to last season. If he had a competent sidekick he wouldn't have had to cover for multiple other players in the backline either.

Its probably a good thing for us that Bielik won't be playing for Poland at the euros or we'd probably lose him as well.
Joz usually does well internationally, so it will probably push his price up at least.

There was 2 or 3 that made a profit i think. Can't remember who, but think it was teams like rotherham. If we didn't keep selling players at a loss it would be a lot easier to remain sustainable. Brentford managed to offset a lot of their costs with player sales.

We already let the cream of our youth go for buttons when Delap and Gordon went on the cheap to help keep the lights on. 

We clearly see things differently. Knight, Bird and Sibley were all far better under cocu and personally i think he managed his youth contingent very well. All of them are going backwards under Rooney and nothing will change in that regard.

Wazza plays him all over the pitch in every position. I expect Knight to be in goal at least once next season if he is still here. Hardly ever gets played in his best position by Rooney and is totally wasted here, which is why I want him to leave for his own good.

We haven't sold any of our youngsters for any significant amounts of money B4. Hendrick is the only one we've really ever got an ok amount for, but people know we are desperate at the moment and they will take advantage of the situation.

Apart from Buchanan who got called up for England u21s and Knight who had been our best player until Bielik returned. Bird was having to do the work of 2 players next to Rooney. 
He looked good against Blackburn last season. 

I think it is too often overlooked, the squad the youngsters played in, they could be supporting roles and shine.

We have to be fair to Knight, honestly, Brighton is a great opportunity to develop. Derby isn’t. 
Get a fair fee, let him move on with our best wishes. I’d say the same goes for all our young players - all of which regressed during the past season. You’ve got to remember these are young lads, with a lot of potential and deserve the opportunity to move on due to our current situation. 
£5m is more than fair.

Dont think its that surprising. He spent half the season injured and had a few alright games during our losing streak at the end of the season, but he hardly set the world alight. From Wales perspective beggars cant be choosers, but i dont think Tom being in the squad would have made much of a difference.
